| I just reconstructed a day-long used (and disgusting, I might add) generic CE2 and swapped out the factory wick and replaced it with Nextel 312.
And I must say that the difference is startling!!
Tested on an OLD 10440 3.7V Trustfire in a junk mod, for starters, just to see how it would perform under the 'worst' conditions....
And WOW is all that I can say!!
No more gross silicone or rubber after taste, my juice flavor is so intense that my nose is tingling (menthol/spearmint juice), the vapor production is twice as much as that of a normal CE2 and it wicks flawlessly..... WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!
Took all but 5 minutes to completely rebuild the atty. Just remove the tube, push up the ceramic cup, push up the red leads being careful not to break the nichrome wire, unwrap the coil from the wick, wipe off any burnt juice on the nichrome, THROW AWAY THAT CRAP WICK and re-wrap the coil with a few strands of unbraided Nextel 312 and reverse the removal process.....and yes, it's that easy!
5 minutes, TOPS!
As good or better than a brand new LR Boge carto!! Absolutely OUTSTANDING!!!!

You connect your CE2 to your mod (remove the battery) and wiggle it backwards and forwards very lightly while pulling apart gently. The whole thing will come out with ease.
But like Tek said, the metal ones are more difficult and will take some time using the very same process. Although, I don't recommend using a working mod to remove metal cartos as you could damage the connector of your mod. If you've got a dead battery, it'll work perfectly for removing metal cartos without worry of breakage. |

| Added note....
I placed a very small bundle of Nextel in the bottom of the ceramic cup with the coil resting on top of it and can now use a CE2....FOR DRIPPING!!
And its works great!
(I added the dripping option as a stone-cold lazy back-up.)
