I took some Sparkplug parts, some copper, an 18650 and made this. Looks like a fuse. Costs about 13 bucks.

Bottom piece is a 3/4"x1/2" reducer, the button fits nicely after cutting off the 1/2" piece and then filing/dremeling a little. The top is a 3/4" cap with a 3/8" hole drilled then filed/dremeled to fit the mount. The Sparkplug button and atty connector fit nicely against the 3/4" tubing, then the cap and adapter squeeze them tight for good continuity. The 18650 has lasted me all day. It's the first time I haven't been thru at least 2 charges in an 8-10 hour period. I made this because I was waiting for the 18650 NoEgo. Ironically, Romaniac came out with that today. I really like the mechanical switch of the Sparkplug tho. I ordered and extra switch and atty end from Sparkplug for Smokers to make this. Also got the adapters so I can use 510 or 808/901 stuff. Loving the 18650.

Interesting, I find the SparkPlug switch pathetic.

I'll take a real switch (even a cheap one) any day.

I've beat that copper to death, the switch held up, even through my stacked pair of Tenergy Li-PO4 phase. It was the atty connector that finally went bad.

How do you have the switch in the two cylinder mods mounted? How are they affixed so they don't move?

Well I've no luck drilling either the thin aluminum or the copper so I could sink in a horn switch. Some good bits and a drill press are needed.

In the flashlight it's this RS 1.5A switch.

I've had very good luck with them and I like the size and feel of the concave button.

I used it a long time, well over a year, with no problems on my original PT at ~ 4.4V.

You need to carefully bend out the solder tabs flat. Solder carefully then you'll need some insulation as you will simply shove it deep into the body/hole as far as you can. A little hot glue, to check for operation and proper position, then some epoxy for strength.

The copper just uses a standard type of switch like these.

It's just bolted. You can shim it from the inside so just a few threads show/catch from the outside, so it sticks out less. The above procedure will work also.

I don't use those anymore.

How have you kept the contacts from hitting the body? I was trying to use one of these, but they're so BIG!
Did you just bend them flat?

Duh...yeah, I really CAN read!!! I just have to put some effort into it...

Movapor did me a great favor and sent me a fuze kit, WoW!! great mod Mo. Rockin it with a greenhouseone LR 510 from China.
I think even bumbling bikes could duplicate this basic, functional mod So Christmas quandries may be lessened for vapers on the list.
Thanks Movapor, pardon me while I vape.
