I was reading a post somewhere and the guy was saying it sounded like his atomizer was flooded. What does a flooded atomizer sound like? How is it fixed? Thanks!
Here's the deal. I'm having consistency problems. Sometimes I can pick up my M402 a vape away an entire cart and everything is great, but the next time I pick it up, it may not even fire the battery without attaching a shop-vac to it. I've mixed and matched atomizers from two different manufacturers and still I have issues. I think it may be a cleanliness issue.
What is the best way to clean an atty? Also is there a method or need to clean the battery holes? I was considering an Everclear bath followed by a blast from the air compressor, but I don't want to damage anything.
VaporFiend ... this is probably a stupid question, but I gotta ask. When your 402 is acting up, does it behave better if you refill the cartridge or change the battery?
The only cleaning I do on my atty is to wrap the wick-end in a napkin and blow through the battery-end. I only do this when I'm bored ... maybe 1-2 times a week. Still working on the same atty 1 1/2 months later.

I can usually fix it by doing one or both, changing batteries or attys. I am not liking these "smart" batteries at all. Is the 2 minute cutoff safety "feature" a part of all 400 series batteries or just certain brands? I think it also has a "feature" that will disable the battery if the atty is too dry.
Overall it seems as if I end up having to fuss with it for a while each time i want to use it. This is not cool when I'm trying to avoid analogs. Also, I cant rely on it enough, to take it with me when I go to work.
Dripping seems more reliable, but maybe I'm doing it wrong. I put two drops on and start vaping until very little vapor is produced. Then repeat.
