Looking for input and discussion on the latest innovation from Joye, that is the T tank and atty. Cruising the pages would reveal limited exposure and perhaps this will be a short, yet informative thread. This post is not intended to be a review and this vapor makes no claim for expertise. However, there are tendencies worth revealing.

Been hitting this device for near 3 weeks. There was a short release of the V1 which seemed to bring a more negative view as compared to the now popular V2; the difference being a larger feed post and little else.

Some very positive aspects of the device:

1)Very convenient refills and on the mark for the future.
2)Feed system is a positive step in the right direction.
3)Designed for use with existing hardware/batts.
4)Nice juice capacity for those who might appreciate style over volume. (I for one do not wish to carry a five gallon can atop my vape device).
5)Consistent draw and steady performance.
6)Very quick turn around on flavor/juice change.
7)Vapors can mix juice right in the tank with Luer cap bottles or syringe.

Things I've noticed:

1)Draw is very tight, but could be ideal for most vapors.
2)Atty is weak, smallish, and heats quickly IMHO.
3)Wick may need adjustment per juice feed to atty.
4)Slight plastic taste for some juices.
5)Tendency for clogging atty due to cup and mesh design.

Per usual in the vaping world, we have a very promising design moving forward. This vapor is having a nice time while learning the ins and outs of the new T and no regret whatever for purchase. Look forward to the V3 and I'm quite sure the designers of the new concept are watching and listening to what we have to say. For those just beginning, along with veterans of the experience, we are still on the front lines and good things are happening.

Happy Vaping

Are these your exact observations? It is my experience but was hoping for some feedback from others. I know you've been running it for a while. How do you compare to the carto?

Thanks Kevin

Mav, my experience with the Tanks has been mostly positive.
Throat hit, flavor and vapor have all been more than adequate. Convenience is wonderful, big move in the right direction.
Had one of the atties go foul , but washing(Hot tap water) and soaking in alcohol followed by blowing it out by mouth and repriming before further use fully restored this one.
Looking forward to the next iteration.

Good experience then? I know the atty seems a little finicky to me and they do require some cleaning. I attribute some of this to the overall design, but when mine are clean and working....they work fine. I just rinse, blow them out, drop some on the wick, quick burn, and go. Around a half a tank later, they are back up and doing. Did use 92 alcohol on one of them and seemed to be OK. You like the alcohol rinse?

Thanks for the feedback Bikes.

Yes,I think the PGA softens the crust and after blow out Ido do a dry burn though much gentler than I use with a CE2 since I have no visual confirmation of removal of baked on residues on the coil. usually about a dozen 2 sec. bursts on the button. looking for reduction of smoke since the coil on a CE2 will start to glow at about the same time that the smoke from the coil stops. I forgot to mention that in my feedback.
This like most ecig equipment discussions is definitely YMMV.
Finding your sweet spot in vaping is a pretty frustating thing for some people. I think that people do not succeed in transitioning to vaping due to ignorance, expectations and an unwillingness to follow the work-around trail necessary to overcome the limitations of the equipment. The knowledge is there to remove their ignorance and to temper their expectations with a dose of reality.
The equipment limitations are being reduced as the manufacturers respond to the market and the users feedback. They are not going to ever be eliminated as the experienced customer base will continue to challenge the makers with new expectations.
The T-tanks are fine for me and my vaping situation, today. Tomorrow I may have catastrophic failure of 3-$13 T-atties and all my cartanks may begin to leak. Should that happen someone better build that better mousetrap in a hurry. You really don't want to hear me whine.

Outstanding synopsis. No need for adding to that comment/post.

On with the opinions and the bar is set. Any further comments would assist towards evaluation.

I have found also if you don't hit them hard, they wont leak.
Now if I can just get my PayPal straight, I will give the LR atty a try,
Hopefully the flavor will shine through on those.
I can only imagine the vapor production..

Totally forgot that in the OP but mine have not leaked one drop in 3 weeks. One thing I found is holding the button for 2 seconds for atty fire (and then drawing) seems to give a nice kick. Device is pretty sweet in a lot of ways. How soon you thinking on 1.7 purchase? Anxious to hear back on those.....

Had to make some changes to my PayPal account, so it may take a few days before I can even order.

OK Bikes. I'm going for the alcohol rinse as a last resort. Today is the day for 12 year old Scotch and a perfect combo for vaping tests.

Just cannot endorse this product after fighting and constant playing today. Of course my attys and experience could be very different from others, and nothing here should be considered absolute toward the T. Mine just keep tightening up as I go. I think the mesh under feed plate gets gunked up and the coil will not heat or break it loose. Not enough atty, and too much mesh creates a clogging affect, be it liquid or dry.

Been vaping the XL with Redbox and what a sweet combo. Running a couple other favorites in the 2.0 Boge and just placed the T attys in 92% for a last ditch effort to clear em out.

I know vendors are inquiring and wanting feedback in order to fill customer needs. Just my .02...... wait for V3 and hold the line. I know my attys were fine upon arrival but performance indicates a large drop over time. If this soaking does not work or bring them back to life, it's on to the GoGo and I'm done messing with em.

The nice thing about Scotch....it's reliable and hits the same every time.

that's why 'stillers get the big bucks and ejuice makers get $4.83 a day after taxes and dorm and rice deductions.

Whew! Glad the serious stuff is over with and on with the humor. I now feel a bit ashamed over not supporting my juice suppliers enough. I think you did this on poirpose.

Great news this morning though. Alcohol flush worked great on the T attys! They are back to normal and hitting fine. Did 4 second burns (4 times with 5 second intervals) and their alive. I'm going to dremel out the air slots a little and see if that helps with draw and personal preference still has me with the 2.0 for flavor but it remains a close race.

after a couple of weeks I find myself reaching for my cartomizers first.....some leaking, but for me the draw has just been too tight with the Ttank.....looking at some new tanks coming out that fit any 510 atomizers....will be ordering some for testing....

Another Michigander and hello.

I'm with you on the waaay to tight thing. I think this has much to do with the flavor drop and plastic taste. With no air mixture and heated vape going through that baffling system in the tip, plastic is picked up and flavor drops off.

Running carts right now myself and flavors are back.

I tried as well and gave them every shot, but they failed the 3 week test. With nicer weather coming, I want something I'm not fiddling with.
