Hey everyone,
I saw this linky on the "other" forum. Had seen this a while back but is still good information to have. Its a History Channel blurb about what actually is in a prepackaged cigarette. Scary as all heck. I would love to sit down with an FDA panel and have them explain very S L O W L Y.... how this is better for me.

YouTube - What's in a cigarette?

If you have a bit more time a longer version can be found here

This level of stupidity makes me want to sharpen my chainsaw.

Then I saw this lovely article-
http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/161215.php

I am mad as hell, where is that little flaming devil emoticon? I really need it right now!

You'd get hours of non-answers, similar to when paulson speaks( Treasury Secretary whose name is intentionaly not capitalized).

That's a great line! So, I take it you're a surgeon?

I'll have to wait to see if it's posted, but I wrote a semi-scathing opinion on the article about the lack of journalistic integrity, among other things...

On a happier note, this article was on the same site, as well.

Speaking of the FDA, you think they would give us poor e-smokers a break. Considering the insane blunders that they have made in the past. My personal all time favorite screw up has got to be XENICAL also known as the over the counter drug "alli". Here is a medicine that literaly makes you have uncontrollable poop and they aprove that in a second. However e-cigs are a no-no. What a bunch of "alli". Oh, if you want to read more about this "miracle" pill click the linky below. Please note, very colorful language and not suitable for work.

Alli: The Miracle Diet Pill With Teeny-Tiny Side Effects | PoopReport.com

This is just one of the insane, lying, retarded, backwards pills the FDA signed off on.

Here is yet another lovely little gem that the FDA dropped the ball on.

30 Ranbaxy Generic Drugs Banned by FDA

A company makes knock off generics, which turn out to be ineffective and toxic, and then floods them into the market. The FDA sits on their 3 lettered asses for 18 months and does nothing.

I could go on pratically forever, but this kind of blatent stupidity has got to stop. Note to FDA- Go chase another horse as this one has been beaten to death.

When I first heard of this, I said - yea, people need to take that

PoopReport.com

Jeez...

I still haven't quit laughing at the name of the domain.

I heard something on the tv news the other day about one of the newer drugs advertised a lot on the tube... maybe Chantix, the stop-smoking one? I'm going to google around and see if I can find what it was.

Good for you, Renderwerks; I read the article, your response, and added another "opinion". This whole thing just makes me crazy... well, maybe it wasn't just THIS whole thing... but it hasn't helped!

Next day: My follow-up was added to the website. I'm sure resistance is futile but maybe just one person who thinks the FDA has a legitimate gripe will reconsider if we continue to speak up with the truth.

I took Chantix and loved it all three times. First time, worked great and I quit smoking for 9 months, but still wanted to inhale something, so I just ate alot. Gained 35 lbs. A year later I tried it again. It didn't work to help me quit. Tried one more time after that and it didn't work so I gave up and just kept smoking (until I started vaping). I had no bad side effects at all from the Chantix. But oh, the dreams I had, such GOOD dreams. Hell, I would take it again just for the dreams. lol
Vaping since June 13th and I DON'T want to go back to analogs. I feel so much better. I may even start working out and lose that 35 lbs I put on from quiting.

I still keep a few cases of the generic 21mg patches (adhesive in ring around patch) in case I need to do a nicotine extraction.

...but the dreams... oh the dreams.. WOW!

(Very vivid colors... I may just be a product of my misspent youth.)

Rocket? What do you think they'll yield as far as juice? Someone told me 252mg, but I believe they may have failed simple Math let alone trying to dabble in Organic Chemistry.
