| This is exactly why the term electronic cigarettes is soo bad for vapers. Had it always gone by personal vaping device 1/2 of these arguments would never happen. Unfortunately e-cig caught on and brought all this negative connotations with it. Sucks when you think about it.

On one hand they use it to associate it with cigarettes for the target consumer, but on the other the general public automatically condemns it.

| That's why the majority of the community refers to them as Personal Vaporizers or PVs. The e-cig is really just the base kits (510, 901, 808, et cetera...), just like an e-pipe would be the 601. They are not terms we use commonly, due to their pejorative natures in terminology.

| I am polite at work and don't push the envelope, I go outside to vape a couple times a day. The boss is always asking, "You going for a smoke break?" and I am quick to correct her, "No, I am going for a vape break!"

| yes, it is true, but largely inconcequential. Untill everybody understands what pvs are and what they do, there will be proscriptions agaist us. and since there are always those who want to protect us, "for our own good" (should read: because they can impose their will on others) the situation will never chage to any great degree.
I have vaped in Walmart and McDonald's, but I do it in a low key way, just take a hit to quell the craving without producing huge clouds of vapor. If you take a small hit and hold it like a marajuana smoker does, you emit little or no vapor and get the maximum from the nic in your juice. | |

(In case you need clarification.  )
