| I heard of a ton of companies having problems, getting these things confiscated by customs and handed over to the FDA, is everyone having these problems??? Is this the end of E-Cigs???? |

| From what I understand, the problem has come in mostly with labeling. It appears not all companies have been accurately labeling their products and not filled out proper forms. I'm not a supplier so I'm not sure about the validity of this with their shipments. What I do know is that I've had problems getting parts and liquid from the US suppliers. |

| Where did you hear this from? Why would Customs turn them over to the FDA, when the FDA hasn't ruled on them yet? |

| My incoming order (juice and parts for personal use) was held by U.S. Customs for a few days. Has been released and I should see tracking progress today (I hope). |

| False alarm, Customs released my personal order (6X30ml of 36mg liquid and 'parts'). Guess I'm just a worry-wort. Received my 'gift' from my friend 'Ralph' in China. Just kidding, thats what we call my various packages from China. Strange how EMS Express gets personal courier service here in the states. I've even gotten Express deliveries on Sunday. The wife and I probably have 18 months of juice in the fridge. Maybe I should slow down with my orders, think? Just a word in support of our U.S. vendors; I've ordered from a few, including 3X of the really cool sample pack (you know who). NEVER any problems yet from any vendor U.S. or China. Hope the FDA uses good judgement. And yes I have signed the petition. |

| Sort of feel like I'm cheating our U.S. suppliers when I order from China (shame these aren't sold at Walmart yet) but part of the fun is trying different models, different flavor liquid and all. I do order from several different sources and there is no comparison to delivery times between U.S. and China, unless something is out of stock (surprise back orders). Local businesses are going to be our hope in keeping these products available. Please watch your ads and claims. Take the initiative on safety labels and warnings. How can sales be blocked from minors? any ideas? Some U.S. vendors must be doing something right if they can get 1000+ bottles of juice in through customs and not as "toys". I thing the big buyers have more leverage in getting foreign suppliers to conform to claims and label issues than personal use buyers. This might help the flow of products through customs. I would rather buy from here than there and maybe even pay a FEW bucks for convenience and peace of mind. |

| Just an opinion here and not based on any factual information, I think it's going to be taking longer and longer to get things through. The tabacco industry isn't going to stand for a replacement taking over their market share to any large extent so we're already seeing signs of a push to "outlaw" or control the sales of these. Good golly, we can't have something freely and easily accessible that will cause a loss to the pockets of big tabacco. Ok, that's my soapbox moment for today |

| With the recent flare up with the FDA I thought it might be a good idea to renew this thread with the intent of getting posts of U.S.Customs rejects or confiscations.
If you have an order held, rejected, destroyed, or lost RECENTLY PLEASE, post it here so we can keep track of the trend at the border.
Details of order size like 4 bottles or 400 bottles, or juice plus kits would be very useful to anyone planning an order in the near future. Hype elsewhere, inform us here.

A lot cheaper then ordering in the US too.
I don't think orders by individuals are being confiscated by Customs. Mine haven't anyway, I always tell them to use a nuetral package too.

One of my orders was "mis-delivered" to someone 150 miles from me! I called the toll free number for USPS and they said they couldn't do anything. I was P.O.ed! I emailed bestecig and told them what happened and requested they re-send the order at their cost. They replied and said they would tell EMS to file a claim!
All was all right though. The post office got the package back the same day and I received it the next day.

| So you have received something from China since the FDA statement last week? That should help everyone's comfort level a little. Keep us updated on any new developments with our Friends at the border.
Just a side note but;
I doubt that Paypal (owned by ebay) would reimburse you for a "toy gift box" from China, confiscated by U.S.Customs. What would you put in the claim form to Paypal?
And wow, what if a bunch of e-juice I ordered got delivered to someone that didn't know what it was?
Don't think they would try and flavor the birthday punch with it do ya? Or put some in a "Rock Star"? Naw, that's why they put the "Poison" label on it.
