xlake,
checked out the site. Just luv those green 'eyes'. Order protocol is a little different, send the Paypal payment first? Didn't notice the shipping, I generally harp about being up front with total cost. Maybe it's in the site and I missed it. This is a 1 atty / 1 battery kit, right? Site is pretty and the Bliss model with the green on it is a little touch of class. Seems to be the trend (check out The Dragon, another 401 with art). Maybe recheck the math on cartridge vs. analogs, seems a tad optimistic.
And the final question, to win the $64,000 dollars: are you a vaporpimp? .
No problem, cause you wouldn't be the only one (ought to be enough smileys)

I actually have two of these. The envy cigs come in a pack that looks like a regular cig pack. It includes a key fob usb charger, 1 atty, a battery and 5 prefilled carts. This unit is model m403 as it has the shorter battery. The green LED looks pretty cool but as it has the shorter battery, it does not last very long. I bought my first one locally here in St. Louis and the second direct from Envy. There really is not a good way to order direct from the site. I called them directly and placed my order. I also found them on amazon and it looks like they are a bit cheaper on there. A little pricey for what you get, but a good looking unit overall. I almost forgot two things. My charger from my 401's usb with cable will charge the 403 envy batts but not the other way around. This product comes with a 1 year warrenty as well be sure to hold onto your proof of purchase. I hope this helps.

Curious ... does the Envy come with a smaller charger? Fewer amps? Would it be able to charge a regular 403 battery?

Does the little green scribble on the side of the Envy really make it worth the price? I'm a "Plain and Simple" kind of guy, and just find it amazing so many people would like the Envy.

xiake,
All the M-401 parts are compatible with the Envy cig. I have sucessfully tested atomizers, carts, the M-401 charger, and batteries. Just be aware as I listed above that the 401 charger will charge the Envy batteries but not the other way around.

Godling,
I just looked at the back of the chargers for the e-cigs. The key fob usb charger that comes with the M-403 Envy is rated at 5v in 4.2v out at 100Ma. The usb wire lead charger on my M-401's is rated exactly the same. I am not sure about the batteries polarity but considering they will both charge on the 401 charger they must be the same. Given the sloppy tolerances of some Chineese parts, perhaps the fob charger is running below spec? My fix was just to run my wire chargers full time. Its a mystery to me why the key fob charger will not charge the larger batteries.

I have key fob chargers on my M401. Hmmm ... the mystery thickens.

Well I don't know much about the technical aspect of it, but the Envy certainly looks pretty cool!

I have found most USB type chargers / wall adapters run at no more than 500ma. that come with e-cig "kits" or sold separately from China.

This makes it hell on many of my different model pass-throughs (PT's), which only work in a powered USB hub (AC adapter powered), or through 1 or 2 USB ports on a PC. A self powered port that we all use just won't work.

(Different PC's different outcomes, sometimes the front ones work sometimes the rear ones work, never both.)

PT's that I haven't installed buffer batteries on yet. Its an electrical USB wiring issue in most PC's...

Okay, I'm rambling now... anyhow I found a cheap work around for this power dilemma...

TRAVEL/HOME AC WALL OUTLET USB CHARGER ADAPTER PLUG NU1 - eBay (item 390066074246 end time Aug-06-09 14:25:44 PDT)

Only $2.87 including shipping from USA dealer = 3 Days (I purchased several for my ever growing brood!
) (It probably is made in China though.)

This is a true 1000ma 5v USB wall adapter! Okay my point?

Remember what I mentioned before about power deviation between USB ports?

Well certain USB chargers, PT's, and straight cables that charge PCC's, etc. just do better, faster & longer on it than conventional USB ports.

Examples:

The smallest e-cig USB charger that I have with the charger box on it is 150ma... it is my observation it charges much faster than the PC's USB hub I had it plugged into. I'm not going to say twice as fast... but a noticeable difference.

I won't even mention 510 PCC's charging... (way faster)

Observations & Final Thoughts:

Oh before you guys get your flukers out... on some PT's over 560ma works under 560ma no works.

Maybe its just my USB ports, my addled vaped mind or something.

Just seems to me most ports & hubs are under powered... and USB drinks power!
..
Hope this is of use to somebody.

Just my 4 cents! (Inflation)

Stehle, and others.
Charging through your USB port on your computer is OK, I know a particular Rocket Scientist that does it. Running accessories like mini aquariums, fans, e-cig pass throughs that don't have an internal buffer is a bad thing. I posted a blurb in another thread about this, but since it was bought up in the Envy thread I'll re-reiterate. If you do not know how to fix a blown USB circuit in your desktop, or heaven forbid, a laptop, I would not power a Pass Through this way. May work but weak, vape hard or a cord short out and the USB power from your computer will be a thing of the past.
If any seller would like to state that they will replace your computer motherboard if their pass through fails and smokes your computer let them speak now. I have 120ac to 5v USB adapters that came with MP3 players, cameras, and a couple now on the way from the ebay link stehle posted a little earlier. Charge batteries or PCC from the computer, use a PCC, power pass throughs from something CHEAP.
Sorry if this is in the wrong thread but I feel strongly about this, it isn't done on none of MY computes by no one no how.
Rocket
MAJOR CORRECTION: POWER PASS THROUGHS FROM SOMETHING CHEAP.

THE ROCKET IS NOT RECOMMENDING PLACING A METAL DEVICE IN YOUR MONTH THAT IS CONNECTED, EVEN INDIRECTLY THROUGH A POWER CONVERTING DEVICE, TO AN AC MAINS SUPPLY 120vac TO 240VAC UNLESS THE DEVICE IS RATED AS DOUBLE INSULATED TO GREATER THAN 2.4 TIMES THE MAINS RMS VOLTAGE, IS CONNECTED VIA A 3 PRONG GROUNDED CONNECTOR TO A GFI (GROUND FAULT INTERRUPTER) OR CONNECTED TO A CERTIFIED LOW LEAKAGE, MEDICAL GRADE MAINS CIRCUIT. TO DO SO PLACES YOU AT RISK FOR ELECTRICAL SHOCK AND RISK OF INJURY OR DEATH.
Ok, that said, be careful with powered devices you stick in your mouth.

Well said!

My previous post was about the 1000ma USB Wall Adapter and the many benefits of using it for charging batteries, PCC's as well also using PT's away from the computer as a source.

It just seemed work to better and faster doing all those things given all the ma variations in a PC USB port is all, but if you feel the PC USB ports make better chargers, I stand corrected.

ports are "acceptable" for charger applications, standing corrected not required

I'm not sure just what to do about pass throughs. tough call here/

I ordered two of the AC to USB supplies from the ebay url you posted just a few minutes ago.

I also started a bucket for electrical comments "E-cigs and electricity" and welcome participation.
