Not sure I fully understand the specs. What is the hyphenated number after the voltage? Are these values just with a fresh charge? Meaning buck/boost circuitry.

Just means that the voltage varies by 1/10.

No buck boost, Just taking a freshly charged liion, at 4.2 <our batts come off the charger at 4.2 and avg at 3.7 hence the rating> So there just droping the voltage a lil bit over the range, and well i find it deceptive..

I get what your saying Tek. If it was me I would call it multi-volt not really variable voltage as thats already associated with step down regulation or boosted mods...not really the same as normally thought of by experienced vapers

I see what you guys are saying and it makes perfect sense. I am not sure why the manufactures call it a variable volt....I will have to look into that

I tested this unit as well and got .1v higher across the board than berger did,but that difference could be meters.
For a 3.7 v vaper like myself this unit is fine and the voltage range is useful;especially given the problem of LR incompatability. Using 2.0-2.6 ohm cartos caused me no problems. It works for me but I tend to stay in the shallow end of the pool.

See that was the question I was trying to get answered.. I was thinking maybe just maybe it had a magic B/B converter so the voltage was not dependent on the battery level. I knew better... But one can wish.

B - So those numbers are ONLY at max charge right. Lets say the voltage drops to 3.6.. The higher setting is no longer valid? Never mind.. Did a little more than quick view and saw your other post
