Hello VapeAtron community,
I've been into the vapor scene for a few months now with my Vapir Vapormatic Deluxe. Granted, it's an alternative style, i'm looking to get into the E-Cig vaping. Primarily, i'm looking to create an entirely new strain of E-Liquids. I'm educated as an engineer and fully trained in industrial chemistry. I'm also lucky enough to have access to lab tools and chemicals.

With that said i'm looking for a little advice on buying my first E-Cig to test out the products i'm going to be producing. I'd like something on the micro scale as battery life or capacity is not important to me. Just something nice and compact, durable, and robust in design would be great. I've looked through the forum section on Micros and it was very helpful. However, i'd like some input from the community on what your favorite Micro E-Cig is and why.

To give a quick overview of what i'm looking to do without disclosing too much; i'd like to use my knowledge of suspending solids into an E-Liquid that would remain in solution and allow the user to enjoy the herbal extracts in these solids. I'm sure everyone in the vaping world is familiar with products like Sence, Spice, and others. They use similar methods to suspend extracts on their medium. If anyone is interested in working with me on the project (preferably someone with industrial chem & lab experience), would like to contribute raw E-Liquids for testing, or if you're just interested in general I will be starting an open forum/open source community to keep everyone posted on my progress.

Hi anonymous,

I suggest you the DSE-084 model. It's almost same size of a regular cigarette and works fine. Actually i prefer vape my 084s than 510s, even at home. Why? it's cheap, good throat hit and good/clean vapor production.

The only problem i see in 084 (other auto models) is that automatic batteries what keep lighting up on high sound/vibration environments.

It's great to know you have engineer/chemistry experience, as you know, the ecigs technology is kind early yet and need enhancements.

And herbal extracts in e-juice would be heaven

Just got your message; thanks to you and the forum. Everyone has been really helpful and friendly here. So me being a whore to style has to have a black or black/stainless E-Cig with preferably a 4 hole atomizer. I took a look at your recommendation and it's wonderful in terms of size, and I hear the new ones have 4 holes; but where is my 084 in black :-(

Wanted to get your thoughts on the Sidesho from Modern Vapor. It's got all the silly fashion traits I want (even a white LED) and from what i've read it gives out a solid vapor with respectable battery life.

I'll let you know when I get my lab bench setup and start experimenting with infusions if it's something you're curious about. Which supplements or herbs would you be curious about using as infusions? I will be using high grade extracts (made in house from quality fresh floral or herbal sources extracted to 25x to 100x) that are water or alcohol soluble. If you have any requests or would like to try out some juices contact me.

anonymous the 084 comes in black too, with blue LED. Check out heaven-gifts.com

Actually, up there in USA you can acquire those customized models like that you said. For me it's just too expensive (i'm cheap). I think those models are just the same china models with different colors/packages/logo.

I have had experience with Tony from Modern Vapor. He is a very cool dude with alot of e-cig knowledge. The sidesho is a JSB 108, which is billed as the next generation of M401 e-cig. It is not compatable with the 401, but it is the same size and configuration, i.e. exposed atty. It has a bigger cart, bigger atty and same size batt... the reviews are very good. JSB is known for duplicating other well known e-cigarettes (Joye 510 for one), but ALOT of people who have bought their stuff actually prefer them over the original. The JSB 118 or 902 (special order 220mah batt) is also reviewed to kick butt. The pros are nice PCC's available and comments above, the con's are auto batts only. I'm pretty sure you will like the sidesho. PM me if you don't know the 25% discount code.

<Edit> According to sources the 902 is available with a manual battery now, and sidesho is coming soon.
