Once had a cat start bringing us a daily dead dove right after we got a new kitten. We assumed it was a peace offering to prove she still had value and shouldn't be replaced by the new kid.

Well, I can do without those kinds of gifts, thank you very much. I thought just a dead critter was bad enough but when they started appearing in halves... omg... and first thing in the morning. So not what I want to see. I had a cat years ago that did the same thing and she came up once when I was watching TV and dropped something in my lap. I looked down and it was a dead mouse... talk about hitting the ceiling, don't think I ever jumped off a couch so quick and high before.

Had a cat years ago bring something into the kitchen alive....some big old live snake!
I asked is the snake poisonous?...My dad said just wait...if the cat lives I bet not...
