I've got a question about charging my new ecig. First a little background info. I started out with a "Yeti" (I believe it is a Joye510) and finally upgraded to an eGo. Since I already had 510 parts and a wall charger I just bought a 510 battery adapter for the eGo so I can use my existing charger.

Well, I got the eGo and it worked out of the box so I figured it was fully charged. I've used it for two days (moderate vaping) and decided to throw it on the charger for awhile. When I hooked up the adapter and screwed it into the wall charger (which reads Joye510 on the back) the green light on the charger stayed green. I can't imagine that the battery is still fully charged. I know the charger is working properly because I can screw in one of my normal 510 bats and the light changes from green to red until it is done charging (then back to green).

Has anyone else experienced this with the eGo? I was thinking there might be a problem with the adapter that I bought??? Going to take a multi-meter to it tonight and then charge for a couple hours to see if there is a difference, but any other suggestions/ideas are greatly welcomed.

The only thing off the top of my head is that the new cig is an Automatic battery and the Yeti was manual?

There's an adapter for Auto batteries to charge on Manual chargers.

A little more info would be appreciated!

They are both manuals. I contacted the supplier and apparently they had one other instance of this happening. It is a faulty battery adapter and they are sending a replacement out to me.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try the replacement adapter when it comes and if it still won't work then I'll hit up TW. I don't mind using the wall charger because I just charge it overnight. I can get through a whole day with the eGo & a 510 cartomizer.
