Hey, I was looking at the caps and the condom caps and I was wondering why there isn't a combination of the two? Basically, a cap that would be made of silicone and stretches to cover part of the outside of the end. This would continue to stop drops of juice to enter the mouth and retain them inside of the lipped inside. The silicone outside would give a softer surface for the lips and teeth to be pressed upon. They'd still be easy to clean as they'd likely just pull right off by worming them off of the sides. I have no idea how to get a combination of the two, so I was kind of curious if anyone had an idea how to craft something like this.

If I'm understanding you correctly, couldn't you just poke a hole in a condom and use that?

You could, but then liquid that is collected by the end would be able to move to the hole and touch your lips. That's why the caps are great, because they have that inner rim around the hole that keeps what is collected in a sort of reservoir. When it collects too much, the excess tends to leak out of the outer edges. But with that extension up the sides on the outside, this would be held back and visible, as you'll see the moisture. At that point, you'd remove it, clean off all of the excess, and go back to vaping.

Yeah, that works. I have done that before when I didn't have so many caps laying around...

mike sent me a lil' batch of condom caps that were made with a whole in the end for sampling other pv's, but it sounds like you want a skin of some sort. kinda like a shrink tube?

Kind of. Take one of the hard plastic caps or one of the silicone caps and push it into the bottom of the smaller condom caps. If those two were conjoined into one piece at the end (obviously with a hole in the middle of the condom cap) you'd have exactly what I'm talking about.

Anyone know if superglueing them together would be worth doing or if there's a recommended safe adhesive/sealant?

Maybe a touch of clear silicone adhesive. Fully cured silicone is fairly stable. Super glue don't stick these two together well.

Scottyballs used plain old clear silicone from the harware store to make his "Zero Filler Mod" prototypes (zfmvapors dot com). I still haven't tried one of those things...

Needs to be something that will cure well.
Just not the "silicone window caulk". That never really cures.
