hmmmmmm,
Rocket's thinking about this.
almost there,
just a little prodding, No, not quite.
Wonder what would swing the balance?
Coupon ! bet a coupon would do it, Rocket's a sucker for a coupon. (510 model is my preferred choice of course but a 905 would be a cool extra to have)
Guess who

Sorry my website doesn't support coupon codes but only because my prices are rock bottom already. I do run sales from time to time but I'm as low as I can go on the 905's.
My 905 kit comes with not one, but TWO stainless atomizers, PLUS I'm replacing the non-protected batteries it comes with to PROTECTED 14500 Ultrafire batteries
With all the $$ you save, you can stock up on liquid as there's plenty of room in the box still
Almost forgot to mention... I'll be building a bunch of 901 to 510 adapters tonight so they'll support a 510 atty..

maybe I'll try an unbiased head-to-head against my 510-18650.
Mine will probably take battery life, but the 905 is going to win the beauty contest between the too. Mine ain't got no LEDs.
And the price is why I went with MAD.

I've tried to get her to try a passthru, 901 manual batteries, 510 auto or manual, and she always gravitates back to the colored 901 auto.
Well, she was down in the dumps today (with a cold) when our friendly postman dropped off the box.
She seemed suitably impressed.
I'll admit it is a little prettier than the Trailer Parks, maybe
Thanks for the super service. For those that can't add I ordered this Wednesday afternoon, was shipped Thursday morning, Wife Vaping on it Saturday. No lag here.

Hoog | It's Thursday and she has only been using the 905 since Saturday. One day she needed to swap batteries, but usually can make it all day on one battery. I'm sort of watching quietly, to see if she swaps the stainless atty for a colored one, not yet. This seems to work out just right for her. Thanks, and Happy Holidays.
I'll report back when something dies, but assume no news is good news

An update on the swamp lady's 905.
This is her e-cig of choice since November. All her colored 901 atts are being rotated (mostly the pink and purple) and I got her a couple more protected batteries to confuse her. One 14500 will last her almost all day. Two batteries, and one slot on one of my chargers is all she needs.
MAKE SURE YOU GET THE PROTECTED BATTERIES.
NOW: ONE MAJOR PROBLEM: (I know others have had problems, but this is the only thing the wife has complained about)
See the button in the first picture below, factory button shape. Side swipe that and it pops out, and falls to the floor. The rubber button is not magnetic so you can't find it with a magnet. hands and knees, flashlight (good thing I haven't modded every flashlight in the house, yet).
Second picture shows the button shape after I took a box cutter blade to it. Sticks up about as high but all the edges have been trimmed at an angle. Won't side swipe as easily.
And she still likes the 905 over my MODS? Why?

I saw that one in an ebay listing. It takes the 3 AAA batteries, just not sure about the size of the flashlight. Does it take them lengthwise?
Pretty though. Maybe it's the "homemade" aspect?

You're looking at the first Screwdriver, and I also assume the current bodies are still coming from the same manufacturing facility. The DSE 905 wasn't as much of a copy of the screwdriver as it was more of a copy of Cisco's mod, who added the top button like you see on the 905.
Cisco is one sharp modder, he does have a lathe though. Here's some laser pointer mods he nade.

And one more chapter in Mrs. Destructo's (aka Swamp Lady) e-cig death march.
The 905 is not supposed to be folded. A pocket knife folds, you fold sheets and towels, you do not fold an e-cig in half (well most models).
Sat on it again and broke the plastic end out of the steel housing.
Look close at the photo attached and you will see little cracks in the housing.
I was able to bend the housing back into shape and glue the end back in. Vaping again.
Also notice the anti-side-swipe mod to the button. That problem has been fixed (for now).
But she is such a pretty little klutz
The Rocketman
Please do not take this post as negative about the 905.
I happened to be married to prettiest little klutz you could find.
She has broken the threads out of a 901 battery by sitting on it.
She would not even try a manual, or a MOD until I got the 905. Now it's second nature to her. She loses something I replace it, she breaks something, I fix it.
-and the beat goes on

I know this thread was started by one seller of the 905, but would one of you 905 sellers submit the 905 as a standard model. I know it is somewhat a copy of the ScrewDriver, but it seems to fit VapeAtron's criteria as a "standard model".
Thanks,
Rocket

Rocket | Not that my opinion counts, but I agree. The 905 should definitely be on the model list.

The anti-swipe mod to the black button switch may end up being "Standard" on the next improved version of the 905.
Zoltan was watching when "someone" was examining the photo yesterday.
