| I'm considering trying to get one of these, but the only places I'm finding them are direct from the factory. One of the sites (eMixt) throws errors when I try to register, when I try to buy from the other one it sends me to a russian website that my Firefox Web of Trust addon says is dodgy.
I like the look of it, and the bigger battery and cartridge (3 times the size of any eCig) are a nice plus. But since it's all unique parts and a new product, I'm worried about quality. |

| Quality and reliability: When a part dies, how much is the replacement part (atomizers)?
I've never had the pipe but agree that size matters.
Options may be the customs: Prodigy, Screwdriver, Silver Bullet, etc.
With generic 901, 510 atomizer ($10 replacement)
At least two suppliers for the pipe (China, Heavens-gifts and Health Cabin both have the pipe, I think) are listed in this forum, should be pretty easy to find. I think something around $70 bucks to start should do it. and juice, and a few cartridges, you can learn to replace filler material in the forum, and maybe a spare atomizer (about $30 - $40)
Good luck,
Rocket
There is also a minipipe, sometimes called LadyPipe, but they will make fun of you around here if you smoke a LadyPipe, they're mean like that , especially if it's pink.

Cheap. I still don't have one. Just like the way it looks.
I went through quite a few cigars before I decided to go with e-cig models with cheap replaceable parts. Most atomizers are $10 or less, and batteries $15 or less. But the e-pipe looks cool.
I wonder how much shipping is?
Rocket
I wonder if a dead 601 e-pipe could be fitted with a e-cig atomizer?
You know a MOD. That would be one way to save a dead expensive atomizer.
Anyone want to send me a dead one to try?

| I wound up building my own, actually, I built two:
Waiting on the parts for the third generation, after finishing off the second prototype I plan on building some for sale based around this model of traditional tobacco pipe (I've got a bagful of them on my workbench, you don't want to know how much it cost even with volume discounts):
This site doesn't seem to have a modder's forum, so I'll skip the explanation of how I did it. I'll just say it wasn't easy. I wound up deciding against the 601 for a variety of reasons, chief among them that the atomizer, battery compartment, and electronics are all contained in the same unit, which means it's an expensive part that is destined to die (dead atomizer, juice in the circuitry, dropping it and shaking the circuit boards loose), and when you replace it you have a completely different looking pipe.
Mine uses external atomizers (801's in the pics, but it could be anything including disposable cartomizers), and I'm going to work on building stems for it around the cigar or pipe cartridges (the only place my model will wind up inferior to the 601 is cartridge capacity, and I want to fix that).
