| So, we all know some juices need to age a bit, sometimes sealed, sometimes open to evaporate off alcohol, etc...
Ever had a flavor or a mix that was completely transformed by the passage of time, for good- or for ill?
Most of my beloved chocolates benefited from a week or three standing, and my Tobaccos from Totally Green require several weeks behind them to mellow off the floral top notes and become more nut-buttery and rich for my pallet.
The real shocker for me has been the Bavarian Cream flavoring from Perfumer's Apprentice. Left tightly closed at (chilly) room-temp, it seems to be fine after several weeks. BUT- the stuff that I mixed with PG, VG, and nic, both as a single flavor, and with other flavorings, has gone seriously commando. It's delicate creamy taste within one week darkens into a smoky sweet (too sweet, imho) caramel flavor. Like... that heavy Kraft caramel you get chunks of to melt and coat apples with. (Thinking now of mixing in some with my Juicy Pear, in fact.) Not sure if I'd call it delicious- and I'm not sure what refriogerating it after mixing (before it turns all dark and caramelly) would do to slow this process, but it's a good thing I only added the Bav. Cream to about HALF of my mixes!
Oh yeah, and btw- I'm not dead yet.

| I'm so glad you're not dead! We have been missing you, obviously! I have NEVER had any juice get stronger. Most of the juice that I have flavor complaints about, have lost their flavor over time. That's why I'm always afraid to "stock up". Therefore, I'm always worried about running out. It's a vicious cycle. |

At this point, I'm treating it as a "be careful with this one" flavor, and only mixing it in tiny batches I can use up in a day or two. Will be trying the refrigerator method soon, though, to see if it delays the change.
Certainly worthy to note, though, if you're a fan of caramel! I like a little of the stuff now and then, but it's not my raison de'tere. But y'all have gotten an idea about my nose, and it's accuracy. I can tell you- the post-change Bav. Cream caramel is a good one!

| They have a vanilla that actually tastes like a one? That I would try. Everything Ive tried upto this point ...well sucks. Just a little tiny aftertaste on exhale...and it smells so good in the bottle.
Which flavor?

Which flavor? | There's a reason why I 'shill' for VT Vapor! Almost every time, if it says it tastes like X, it TASTES like X

Oh yeah, and btw- I'm not dead yet. | I know what you mean about some flavors turn dark faster than others, and some never seem to turn dark. I have some peach menthol I mixed a while back and it is still just about clear, yet a few other flavors have turned fairly dark in the same amount of time.
It seems that most of the time it is a flavor that involves vanilla or cream type flavors. I have some cherry cheesecake (Lorann) that has turned real dark in the last month or so. The PA french vanilla has turned darker also, but still tastes like french vanilla (so far). I have not noticed any drastic flavor changes, (yet) but I usually mix in small batches of 3 or 6 mill so they often don't last for months on end unless I didn't like the flavor to begin with.
Glad to see you are still alive and kicking Flash
