| I had once ordered a Johnson Creek sampler pack, and every single flavor had this overwhelming note of a "toasty" or "mildly burned" about them. I was so disappointed, so I just went back to Dekang for a bit. A few days after my initial tasting of the JC pack, I was running low on my other nicliqs and tried the JC again. OMG! The entire lot had lost nearly 100% of their "toasted" edge and the real flavors totally came through (although some were more rich and flavorful than others, of course!) This has been the only significantly noticeable change to any liquid's flavor that I can recall. | |
