Took me a few hours. I didn't have actual 18650 battery holders. So I used a big piece of plastic and broke some battery contacts out of some old remotes to televisions that we no longer own. The tubes that they sit in are huge syringes that my mother picked up from the hospital she works at. It just so happens that they fit an 18650 rather snug so I cut one and dremeled it in half to make the battery holders.
The rest is DNA wizardry. |

| Wow... look at the youth on that paw. What, are you 21.00000000000001 yrs old? (smiling) Everytime I take a pic with one of my paws holding something, I think... gloves. Yeah I need those. |

but thanks guys, I know a lot of Altoids mods have been made but I don't recall any with a DNA.
btw the button is on the top right in the second picture which is the top-left on the actual mod. It's a bit hard to see from the wiring.
The on-off slide-switch is just hanging by the pressure of both of the wires that go to it. I didn't want to glue it in due to the likelihood that if anything fails, that will be it and I wanted it to be easily removed and replaced if it ever does. |
