| We are considering switching from amber glass bottles to amber PET bottles for all of our liquid nicotine and would like to see which you prefer. All opinions welcome and appreciated.
Thanks,
Robert

You don't need to know the chemical name
Robert;
I think the PET bottle for 30 to 60ml is fine.
Larger sizes imply longer storage. Amber glass would be better for large quantities like 120 or more.

All I knew was Polyethylene LOL..had to google for the rest..no rocket scientist here..or chemical wizard..
Thanks for your input Rocky..it's always welcome

I did, often wonder, why the vendors that I have used, haven't offered some kind of recycle deal if you send the bottles back. I love juice in glass bottles. It seems as if they would send an envelope in which you could send the empties back, it would make sense. I am not a tree hugger, I'm just saying, "what if?" |

I want to have a Blue Bottle tree one day, but mine are too small! Sit back and wait for the Yankees to come out. They have no idea what a bottle tree is. LOL |

| Rocket's right on the nose again.
PET is a great barrier material against gas and liquid permeation, as well as having good chemical resistance to solvents.
For your DIY business use it also has the added bonus of being almost shatter-proof during shipping, and lighter weight than glass.
The only material that I would consider superior for chemical resistance and oxygen permeability in longterm storage is glass. |

| A nice brown glass bottle and pretty label just sort of instills confidence, especially when you order a bigger bottle.
(sorry for the frosty photo)
