Best, worst, fantastic, taste like something died and was extracted into a bottle and decided to call it a flavor for censored and giggles, comma stupor can't get enough so lets just pop the top and drink (not recommended by the way), a work in progress please advise, to the most complicated to the simplest recipes lets hear them.

Here is one I am working on. The more I vape it the more I really like it.

100%vg 16mg

5% chocolate fudge brownie ice cream flavor from loranns
2.5% chocolate concentrate from loranns
1% butter concentrate from loranns
1% cotton candy concentrate from loranns (omit cotton candy for a more bitter sweet chocolate)

Great bold chocolate flavor that isn't overpowering, it tends to linger in your mouth with a very clean chocolate taste. It is a little close to a bold dark hot chocolate with little sweetness or a deep dark chocolate it doesn't give me the impression of a fudge brownie. Still in the works but it isn't bad. Any advice is great.

4% cuban supreme cigar by flavour arts

At first I thought I have done screwed up and wasted my money on this flavor. Well then I let it steep for a little while. I came back to it and was like hey that isn't to bad. I detected all of the cigar finishes. So I started rolling it through my nose doing short puffs. Well it's good I especially like it when I vape it like a cigar. If you're looking for a tobacco/cigar flavor without caramel or sweet in it that has a dry finish then this is it!

I would suggest starting out at 2% getting use to it then bump up the percentages as you like. This is going to be one of those vapes that I have to keep around and I will keep a carto filled with it. It's that satisfying. I haven't wanted a nasty cancer stick since I found this flavor!! It is bold enough that I still taste it while drinking my coffee in the morning, I drink black coffee no cream no sugar, I make my coffee 1 heaping tbsp to 2 cups.

I highly recommend this flavor if you are looking for a tobacco flavor!!

I tried the alcohol factor for throat hit!! I tried it with 40 proof. Well at 1% it kicked my tail I had to dilute it on down. I got it to about 0.3% and that is still strong. It really does add a throat hit, but I doubt that is what vendors are using for that increased throat hit action unless they are diluting the alcohol prior. I didn't I just went with it as is. The amount of vapor it produced is unreal!! I mean smog heaven. It also seemed to add a little boldness to the flavor. It didn't send me in coughing fits it didn't knock me out but it did tend to make me cough afterwards.

I am still debating on adding this and wondering if it is a good idea in the long run. I will let you decide and make your own opinion. As for me I am leaning to the I could do without it, and wishing I didn't have it in my carto right now!!

I’m looking forward to seeing how this thread develops. I am about to try mixing for the first time. I have two regular juices that I buy (cool rush & honey flue cured) always in VG. I’m able to buy those flavorings from the vendor and pure VG from another. I’m not getting any VG with nic in it since I’ve been lowering my nic level and want to try 0mg.

Any suggestions on the mixing percentages? I was thinking of making a couple different ones to start with. I’m making it in 15 ml batches and was thinking of doing this to see what I liked best:

70/30: 10.5 ml VG and 4.5 ml flavoring
80/20: 12 ml VG and 3 ml flavoring
90/10: 13.5 ml VG and 1.5 ml flavoring

How about a batch with the lowest percentage of flavor and add a little more flavor each day until you get too much. Then dilute with VG each day until not enough. Maybe something like 2% flavor, 4%, 6%, 8% 10%, 8%,6%.

You could fine tune and end up with your preferred flavor with minimal lost material.

Made my first batch last night. Turned out ok, I can vape it, but I'm missing that nice throat hit. All I get is giant clouds of vapor and I almost have to make myself stop inhaling because without the throat hit I can't feel it.

I might try adding a little more flavor to see if I can feel it better. Really want to keep this stuff at 0 NIC, but if adding some will make the inhale more noticeable then maybe I'll have to add some.

Yes, nic will definitely give you throat hit (irritation).
Nicotine has a natural bitter taste, and causes a slight burning sensation to the lining of the mouth and throat.

CC has the right idea if you want to stay away from nic, try adding a little grain alcohol to your juice.
Start at around 2-3% and adjust up or down from there based on your taste.
It's not exactly the same sensation as nicotine, but it will add some kick to the vapor.

Last night I went back to the 40 proof after a conversation I was having on gptv. 2% 40 proof gives me a nice hit even in my 4081's. I am about 14 to 16 mg 100% vg.

Funny..for me the grain completely ruins the entire juice..used to like it but now I cant stand it at all anymore..I don't even want any throat hit at all now..its just an irritation...smooth and flavor is what I like now

Yeah, I liked playing around with the alcohol for a little while and now I don't care much for the throat hit either.
The nic gives me plenty enough for my tastes... sometimes too much.

It's kinda funny how I've done a 180 from my old smoking habits to now.
When I smoked, I stuck with one brand for years and hated to smoke any other flavors/brands.
Now that a vape I find I don't like to stick with one flavor for very long at all.
I only mix my own in 5ml sizes now and carry around about 20 different flavors with me.

Although I like the convenience of cartos, I'm considering going back to attys and dripping just so I can change up flavors every few vapes again.
I don't know what it is, but my tastebuds love a new flavor for the first couple vapes and then they just seem to lose interest... damn things must have A.D.D.

It's nothing special. Just used plain 100% VG from Madvapes and the Cool Rush flavoring from Liquid Express.

The mix was 9 ml of VG and 3 ml of flavor. It could probably use a little more flavoring so I might step it up next time. I'm using this on a dual coil cart at 6v.

You are smooth I still need my TH. Since I haven't fallen off the wagon in a long while and the cravings are getting less, maybe that will change in time to wanting smooth hits. Still, something really good about a hard TH sometimes

I did go through a short period where I was all about the throat hit, but the that first vape in the morning was like geeze..what the heck was I thinking...Ive gotten to point now I seriously doubt I could smoke an analogue just cause the throat irritation would be intolerable now I'm sure
