| are you constantly in front of the computer at home or work? if so you might want to buy one. but i would hold off and shop around. or buy somthing good like the PT's from puresmoker.com and if i were you i would return that "free" trial offer of a e-cig. buy somthing like a kr808d-1 or a joye 510. |

| Thanks for the high five, do you know of anywhere where I can purchase some more mental glue? I already feel like my brains are done crammed full and we are only 7-8 weeks into this program....and there is still TONS more information to cram into it.
Uh....did anybody see where I put my glasses? |

A straight thru passthrough isn't the best thing for your computer. An atty or a cartomizer draws ~1.5A of current, and most USB ports are <1A. It WILL power the passthrough, but you're putting a heck of a strain on the MoBo.
Get one with a battery. The USB charges the battery and the battery powers the cig. Nowhere near as much of a strain on the MoBo.
And don't use it ( a straight thru) on a laptop unless you're willing to shell out ~$200 for a new MoBo...

| ya i'll never use one on my laptop. BTW did i tell ya i killed one of the USB's on my PS3 Steam?! it still charges batterys and my flashdrive works on it, but it will no longer power the PT. i guess i'll just throw my PT in the car and get a USB adapter now, because i'm not plugging it into my stereo face.
^^this is the kind ya want to buy.

I just ordered wall and car chargers for ours last night. Lots of folks here locally have fallen in love with the PT and don't have a computer. |

| This adapter is a popular choice among users on many forums due to the 2A output it provides.
I have been using them for over a year now and, for the price, I don't think you'll find a better option.
I used to run my PT's off the computer through a Kensington Power Pack but switched to these. |

| I've had no issues at all with them and the difference in the hit is definitely noticable.
According to the specs they output 2A on single port use and 1A per port if using both at same time. Here's one of the many threads, with multiple comments, started by markarich on these adaptors. If you search his name/threads started, you'll find plenty more. |

| ... Thanks Fir!
Yeah SP, we got in 1500ma walls but they didn't work. We found that the USB adaptors you buy at wally world etc. work best at 1350ma so that is where we are getting that number from |

Uh....did anybody see where I put my glasses? | You will live. I had to take and ultimately pass college algebra at the age of 42. And Honey, I went to school in Florida. Graduated from high school without ever taking any algebra. I thought my brains were going to explode and splat on the ceiling. Taking short quick walks every hour or so helped with the cramming. Good Luck.
