They are selling the NJOY line of ecigs.

Pretty pricey at 75 bucks and 20 bucks for refills. But after all store rent ain't free!

Do you think they have any knowledge of what the upcoming legal rulling will be? hmm ...

I think that they see a way to make some fast cash regardless of what the end result is and they are cashing in on it. I do find it odd that they aren't making them available in their stores, that doesn't really justify the price they are asking.

That's a great find, LeCig; really interesting. I think it boosts the credibility of the e-cig and is probably a blow to Ashe and a little sign of defiance to the FDA. CVS would have to order in bulk so I'm curious if their shipments will get held up at customs.... I bet Ashe is already organizing a CVS boycott; personally, I'm going to make it a point to shop CVS whenever I have a choice. Thanks for finding this and posting it!

I know this is exciting news and support for our cause.
But folks, this appears to be a rather expensive product.
And I believe the prices are before tax.
Check out the price of refills.
This just might be a method of FDA control, you know, just before they lock down the borders, and freeze the assets of the remaining small sellers.

Don't mean to sound like Debby Downer, but sniff this one out.

Your might be right Rocket, it might be a prelude to another nanny state manuever by our so called representatives in government. But perhaps they are just pricing it like everything else in there store ... you can buy retail, or you can buy discount; just depends where you shop. I'm sure CVS has 400% markup on lots of other products too.

Personally I think some of the suppliers have lowered their prices to low to compete with the chineese suppliers, and to compete against each other. I guarantee all those who are not making a decent profit will close there doors eventually. That is just a fact of business. We rely on our locals for business and have built a healthy one so far. We've even lowered prices to be reasonable, but I'm betting in the long run the slim margin guys will die on the vine. They always do, no matter what the business model is. We are in this for the long haul and appreciate all of our customers that support our business and recognize the value of our service ... I want to be around to replace a battery or help with other issues and not just be a flash in the pan. I'm not complaining, just stating facts.

Will we see these in Wallmart next? Probably under "Marlboro" ecig ... if and after the PM/Ruyan deal goes thru. They probably start at $100 bucks based on the name alone.

Just my 2 cents

The low margin sellers might not be appreciated enough.
Most of you guys got in this to help others do the same thing you did -
give up tobacco. At least you will go broke knowing you did a good thing.
I think I'm smart enough to recognize an honest person.
It's a shame I don't have enough money to buy from all of you.
Would if I could. I know the overseas sellers are dipping into your customer base but maybe not as much as you think. You see it up front and in the open here, but I'm sure there are still a lot that are just too uncomfortable to make that order and risk dealing with Customs. We really need to be kept up to date on Borders issues. Shipment refusals will signal an impending change.

This deal with CVS is either a bold move by them, maybe with a little insider information, or maybe it is just a compromise orchestrated to provide a supply line that can be controlled (NIC level). Once in place, and I doubt CVS will have a monopoly on this, control as an Over-The-Counter drug will be easy.

Awe that's alright rocket! We're doing just fine here with our local base, our national base is getting big as well. The chineese suppliers are doing what they should, trying to make a buck. But where we have them is on the time it takes to arrive As far as going broke, well that not a concern in the least for the moment. There is still lots of folks that don't use the web and are prime candidates for this product, and most certainly need it the most!

I hate to see all the money leave the country because as we well know, it is not coming back.

And I'd have to agree with you when we see a halt at the borders that would not be a good sign at all.

Personally I think the PACT Act will have the most impact on us web sellers, but it is strange CVS choose this route ...

Not me. Shipping fees just about make US suppliers competative, I can get my stuff in days instead of weeks, if a shipment gets seized it's YOU paying for it and not me , and, if I get ripped off from a US supplier, I can go there and PUNCH YOU IN THE NOSE!

Satisfaction guaranteed!
