never use toxic solvents in a carto...only something you would be willing to drink!!
water-hot, everclear grain alcohol, vodka...
never a toxic substance!!!!!!!!!
you cant get it all out 100% and maybe melt the filler..

| Personally I think that guy is crazy..denatured isopropyl alcohol is a poison..says so right on the front of that can he showed..but he was only cleaning an atty and I guess you could burn it off or let it dry completley by air given enough time...isopropyl is a poison, where as ethanol is the type in beverages...
cleaning a carto would be different then an atty but why would you take that chance of possibly vaping some residue..just use grain alcohol and not have to worry about it..
mineral spirits is a paint thinner...and way worse then the isopropyl and even more toxic..dont even think about using that stuff for cleaning cartos or attys and I bet it would leave residues..that stuff could cause a whole host of nasty stuff to you if you vaped it

The cartomizer was laid to rest in the trash can...Kids do not try this at home. Leave it to Mr. and Mrs. Dumass.

| have you tried hot water?..I like the syringe method..he could have used one of those pencil grip things that fits over the end of the carto and syringe... I heat up water in the microwave and then force flush the carto out that way....boiling direct will melt the glue on the black or white ones that have sticker covers on them..

| Oh..I was talking about cleaning other ones in the future..if you put mineral spirits in some you'll never get it out now...for starters its not soluble in water and has penetrated the fibers...any like that are toast now

The Epdcc is giving me at least 20 days. At $2.79 each that's about 14¢ a day. The time it takes to clean it is worth more than that. I save the mouthpiece and throw the rest in the trash. Juice is about 99¢ a day vaping 3 ml. $1.13 a day is a lot cheaper than 6 bucks for a pack of cancer sticks. And I'm not getting all that Crap that is in an analog.

| Sometimes we just need a reminder to take everything, including ourselves, less seriously.

Let them dry, then dry burn. But I have to go with Steam and Terri. Clearomizer xl with shipping ended up being 1.94 each. I get a week out of one. Why clean?
Never tried mineral spirits. Did drink a small amount of Vitalis once in my early twenties. Not recommended. |

Hey Craig, I use one of those (made my own ) anyway what I do is, boil some bottled water and let it cool slightly (no bubbles from boiling) then I put the mouthpiece end in the tube and submerge the battery end into the water and gently stroke the plunger back and forth, pulling the water through the carto several times (I know, left myself wide open to the jokes that will ensue) then do the same thing with room temp. everclear or white rum, then shake out excess liquid, blow through it a couple of times (with your lungs, not an air compressor) and allow to air dry for a day or two.
If you need to use them sooner, you can put the mouthpiece end in front of a fan at an angle for a couple of hours and they should be dry enough to use.
