| Okay....SO.
Are we going with bricks of Boge Cartos?
Or are we going with SmokTech whatever?
I've never had an ST carto or an RY-Honker, (don't even say it, B!) so I'm not able to judge if they're better or what?
But I've tried Boge LR cartos and really like them! And considering Boge is a LOT cheaper than cartos from ST (more than half based on what I've seen), then I'm more inclined to go with Boge.
Time for votes....
Boge?
Or SmokTech? |

I WAS a Boge LR fan up till very recently | Everything is negotiable...but here's what I have on my ST spreadsheet dated 8/11.
SMK 510/Ego/Epower Single Coil Carto
1.5/2.0/2.5/3.2/5.0 ohm
1K-5K $0.59/ea
If you order less than 1000 cartos, that price will increase.
And I don't have single coil XL's on my sheet....
I have (5) variations of dual coils, (1) variation being RY's Honker.
I know that you can pretty much order whatever ohm resistance you wish if you meet the minimum MOQ (1000 pieces).
Dual coils range from $0.85/ea to $1.70/ea depending up which model you're wanting.
Is this what you're showing on your spreadsheet?
BOGE is the same price for their "generic" single coil cartos but they don't have an MOQ.
Which means if we were to buy say 1000 units, that price would drop considerably.
Boge's spreadsheet is extremely vague and doesn't give me a whole lot of information to work on, so I'm using my prior experience with such purchases to make an adequate 'guess' for now. Keep in mind too, having a large order ready for purchase, we can use that as leverage to bargain one manufacturer against the other!!

| Dunno if anybody cares or not??
But Newark might just be the place to ask if they'd be willing to dump their inventory: http://www.newark.com/jsp/search/pro...sp?SKU=14R7976
I read somewhere on the big forum that these will put out more than 3 amps, but don't quote me on that.
Can anybody that's used one of these confirm their actual output? |

I WAS a Boge LR fan up till very recently | FYI...
A Boge carto will last considerably LONGER inside of a tank mod, or so I've been told.
I've also been told the the dual coils are really awesome, but sadly, I've never had one.
But in either case, we still need to determine who's willing to join the coop for cartos? Tek wants 100-200 Boge 3.0 Ohm cartos.
WW is in for AT LEAST a case!! (1000)
Blue is in for ??
Wizard wants at least 100 DC Cartos, maybe 200. If not DC, will settle for 100 DCC's.
Pit wants Smoktech DCC's
B dropped out!
Anybody else?

| You can count me in for some cartos.
I do love my DCs, but I won't pass up a good deal on the single coils if that's what you all are getting. |

You can try the suppliers in here, but I doubt they'll do it for free.
I wish ya luck there, man.... |

I wish ya luck there, man.... | that is the thing, if they want in for a cheaper over all price, if not, then fine i dont care,,, its just smart business to group up even if your a supplier... |

Give a shot dude, see if one of the suppliers in here is willing to negotiate a coop for free.
I don't know any suppliers cuz I don't buy retail, so if you know of one in here, or if someone else in the coop knows a supplier....then give it a shot.
But there's something else that everyone is gonna have to realize. Someone is gonna have to take delivery of everyone's order and then ship everything out to each person.
But in a case such as this, a coop may not necessarily be the best answer....
Each one of you may be better offer just ordering separately and paying for express mail to get your stuff.
I "might" be able to negotiate a lower price on a group order, but I can't be sure....there are a lot of unknown variables.
But you're welcomed to talk with a supplier Tek, to see if they'd be willing to do whatever it is that you're wanting them to do....ya know? |

| So what happens when we get in a boat load of "xyz cheap china whatever" and its
a) Wrong (but only wrong enough to piss off one person)
b) Defective (Same as above or in general for the coop)
c) Above neg cost (Same as above)
This is just a few initial concerns but not all.

This is just a few initial concerns but not all. | That's good WW, everyone needs to clear up these kinds of questions BEFORE committing!
If they're defective in some way, the person of which they were DELIVERED will be able to return the product for replacements, but you have to cover return freight costs.
Dunno what you mean by "neg cost"..... |

When you buy crap product from your local store, you gotta drive back to the store to return it...right?
Does that store pay for your gas that you burned up returning the crap product?
Just how it is....
BUT, it may actually be negotiable.
Not sure yet, really....
