The actual coop hasn't officially begun yet, Blue.....so anybody is free to back out at anytime.
Although, only 1 person on the other form back-out prematurely (and went and immediately bought a Volcano LT) without first reading the thread from the beginning page to the point where he backed out.
And now he's kicking himself, trying to get a refund!!
This thread as well as the 'other' forum is in place mainly for YOUR benefit and not mine. It's to show honesty and up front disclosure and just how difficult a coop actually is for an organizer, not to mention there's ZERO compensation...literally!!
But then when everything's purchased and it arrives, THEN comes the logistics nightmare!! Verifying, testing, inspecting the merchandise and then shipping out to everyone in the coop.
Everything I do is strictly on a volunteer basis and I'm paid absolutely NOTHING for doing it!! That's why everyone LOVES being in a coop and ass-kiss the organizer......
Cuz we're volunteers that work our asses off for our community of strangers.
Or friends where applicable? | Uh I kiss no ass except for Aishwarya Rai.

| Here's a picture of the carrying case Ego-type kit: http://l-rider.en.alibaba.com/viewim...o_variable.jpg
As you can see on Uniq's spreadsheet, it's identical to this L-Rider photograph. |

| Here's a peek at L-Rider's new version of the LT: http://l-rider.en.alibaba.com/viewim...oltage_ego.jpg
Notice there's no "Lavatube" name on this prototype. There's just an emblem in the place where the logo would be placed.
And just to clear any possible confusion... L-Rider is the manufacturer of a product that Volcano e-cigs invented, called the Lavatube. But currently, the design does NOT have a patent. I haven't verified whether or not Volcano has a registered trademark for the Lavatube name, but Volcano says they own the rights to the name. Uniq Electronics Technology is a supplier that carries a variety of e-cig devises, one of which is the Lavatube. Volcano is a reseller or vendor that up until recently had exclusives rights to advertise and sell the Lavatube brand name to US & Japan. But it would appear that those "rights" have been either broken or have expired. But I can't give you details beyond that, as I gave my word to the CEO of Volcano of non-disclosure.
Any other suppliers that I speak with that carry a Lavatube or similar versions will vary GREATLY in payment terms, prices, kit options, order limits (as known as an MOQ), available options and custom upgrades.
No 2 companies are alike and it's what makes negotiations a PITA.

All quite confusing as it changes here and there. Basically this is a co-op for some unknown pv device, with unknown features, selling at an unknown price. Nope can't say I would be interested in that at this time. I like to know what it is and how much it is before I decide if I want it or not. Seems pretty ignorant to me to say I want some unknown at this time pv at some unknown at this time price. You make these guess amounts for what you think you might/hope can get something for and not even really specific about what it is/does other than some lavatube variation or is it the lavatube now that... what was it... Volcano will no longer have a contract with L Rider after this month??? So did it go back to the lavatube or something different from a different manufacturer. I find all this very misleading. Maybe it is just me but before I commit to a co-op, I want to know what the heck it is and how much and I think all this should have been figured out before hand rather than changing stuff as you go. | PRICES: Wholesale Spreadsheets
L-Rider & Uniq wholesale spreadsheets are right on the top.
And they've been there for a couple of weeks AND I notified everyone they were there...in this thread.
But negotiations are complex and VERY complicated!
Buying from Chinese manufacturers, suppliers and wholesalers is nothing like it is here in the US for many, MANY different reasons....which are too lengthy to list out "why" for this post. It's complicated and can be extremely risky if not negotiated properly.
So please excuse me for being "Grouchy"....
Those spreadsheet prices are not "set-in-stone" and are negotiable when reaching an 'options' MOQ (usually 500 sets). There may also be an MOQ just for ordering, which can be set-in-stone or sometimes can be negotiated. And in instances of repeat or referral business (i.e. a Co-Op or something similar), it opens even greater options and custom upgrades. |

| Okay...I just got a really good wholesale price on the new Panasonic CGR18650CH 2250mah batteries.
Got a quote for 400 cells for now at $3.52/ea
I'm getting several supplier quotes, but this is the first one to respond.
Here's how much they are from a reseller: http://www.intl-outdoor.com/panasoni...ery-p-291.html
And yes, these are the new chemistry high drain (10A) batts that blow away the AW IMR 1600's and won't vent or explode when short circuited.
If anybody's interested, lemme know and I'll add you to to coop list. |

| I opened an coop thread for anyone that's interested in the Lavatube: ***LAVATUBE CO-OP***
Post your interest in that thread, but your questions here please.
The other thread is so I know who to include in the coop without having to backtrack through here looking for interested parties.
The coop is nearing it's final planning stages and everything should be ready for ordering once I get the purchase orders from L-Rider and the battery suppliers.
Everyone in here that wants an LT gets an automatic reservation in the first coop. Everyone else on the ECF will be selected via lotto number picks.
The first coop is gonna be small, but the coops after are gonna be HUGE!
