Tells me whoever handled the coop didn't do his homework.
I agree, you have to be veeeery cautious when dealing with the Chinese. But the "holiday" issues are common as they have quite a few more than Americans.
I'm also aware of "shenanigans" that commission sales people try to pull on the ignorant, that's a given, but those types of issues can be avoided through proper negotiations.

Joye was no-brainer easy.
I got everything I ordered within 3 days of accepting payment.
Matter of fact, I've NEVER gotten anything from China that fast!!
But that's where details should be disclosed on expected delivery times upon payment acceptance. All of that stuff has to be worked out before making a commitment and an invoice stating such (with guarantees and warranties) certainly helps!
Its tough, ya gotta think of everything before making a commitment with China. | |

| Well I think most of it had to do with the fact I was not an established seller to be honest
others who ordered after me got theirs weeks before I did and it was a new item so they pushed it to the bottom of the pile and blew off the original quoted lead time

Avoid DHL like the plague!!
Cheap freight is NOT a smart choice when you're dealing with large parcels.
Air mail isn't bad for little things under $25, but never go the cheap route with freight when a considerable amount of money is on the line. Even with a trusted Chinese supplier....just not a good idea.
I opted for express mail ($50), arrived in 3 days...seriously! | |
