| No one is calling me back, so while I'm waiting I think I'll head to the hardware store. All night last Saturday, and a few hours each day since on a 14670. YMMV...

I've been making my own battery holders for a couple years now. I made one for Bikes, just have to add a finishing touch and get it off to him.
THe numbers are models of Li Ion batteries: 14 670 means 14 mm around (about the size of a AA battery) and 670mm long. The bigger the battery, the longer it can deliver voltage. I made a couple for 14670s, but usually make them for 18650's. They last about 3-4 days before needing a charge.

That's one hell of a cell.
Actually this looks like it might make a decent mod.

Yeah...670mm. You charge it once a year whether it needs it or not!

| Is that a squeeze light? I've been wondering if any of these put out enough amperage to make a battery-less vaper . . .

| Where do you all get these flashlights. I been doing 3.7, 5v and 5v vv boxes for close to a year. I saw a few flashlights in other fourms but where to get them?

| Hey,Eddie, Steampunk listed some in post#3 and Tim started this thread with another source.
Steam and Tek made f/l mods for me so they would probably give you some tips. The ones that Steam listed are sturdier but cost more.
Also our Rocketman made what he called his Trailer Park mod and it can be found in our modding and DIY section under "Cheap all day sucker" Lots of pics and a good tutorial.
Welcome to Vapeatron,Eddie.

This is called "modding" in the vernacular, and the result is called an "e-cig mod", or a "big-battery-mod". That's in the E-Cig Customizing and DIY section <- that's a link), where you will find a lot of other ways to get your vape on the cheap, if you're willing to get your hands dirty (or have a handy slave-boy to do it for you).
EDIT:
If you mean all of the details of the conversation, that takes time hanging around reading lots of conversations about modding to understand. If there's something specific you want to know about, just ask. See, there are little advances like integrated juice feed systems (top feed, bottom feed) and stuff like that, that people have been building and developing over the years. High voltage, variable voltage, selectable voltage, all manner of juice feed schemes, power sources, etc. Heck, some people are even building their own atomizers from scratch. Blinking LED's, little readouts that tell you how much power is left in your batteries, audio (like the theme from Star Wars plays every time you vape), etc. etc. etc.

| Thanks for the warm welcome. I got to this forum thread by searching for flashlight mod. I'll look at link provided and I need to get away from using PC boards they won't fit inside a little flashlight.
