| We're speaking here of tobacco. This should have the sweet, fruity, and desert vapors already hitting the back button, while scrambling for the exits. For the not so faint of heart, and true tobacco lovers...let's get on with it?
It's no secret by now....this guy likes tobacco, and only offer reviews on what I know. Also no secret as to one of my favorite vendors in this regard, Vape the Rockies. Right up front? I am in contact on a regular basis with Fred over at VTR, and he does send me juices for opinion. Recently his supplier had changed (without notice) the ingredient for the proven and excellent Cavendish pipe blend; Captain Delight. Received an order following this change and alerted Fred of the downgrade. Good vendors will NOT sell a product in degradation, and this mix was immediately pulled by VTR. What he came up with for interim Cavendish is named Tobacco First Mate. Tested this on a 3.7 18500 mod with 306 atty, and it immediately grabs your attention. Chocolate note is prevalent on inhale, along with the signature and subtle VTR tobacco base. A wisp of dryness with Cavendish/vanilla undertone and average TH for this 60PG/40VG mix. Exhale is near the same (with possibly more of the vanilla) and plumes of vapor which is signature for Fred's juice. The best description I can relay would be.....think malted milk ball with tobacco undertone. The sweet top note of Captain Delight is missing here, but little brother carries through for Cavendish vape with a choco twist. Vape the Rockies juice is one of the most subtle and clean mixes out there. I've been vaping for near two years and this is for sure the cleanest stuff I've ever run through vape equipment. The atty eraser is a must order from here as well and pushes one through for free shipping. It works great for atties and would not be without it.
Lets get it strait, given tester aspects? Did not become a tester, followed by purchase. Testing came after VTR became my primary top shelf juice and Cavendish quality began to disappear from the market due to change in supplier flavoring. Search for this flavor resulted in almost no one having it anymore. Title of this post may result in those who search for the real deal of yesterday and Fred got it back in short order while working toward the original Captain Delight. He need not work too hard......little brother is doing well in the interim.
Vapestein is also here with some great reviews and near misses for It's Alive awards. Taste is subjective, but if I'm the Frankenstein, VTR gets at least two. Bourbon Sweet Leaf was the other juice tested, but more on that later and it's an excellent Bourbon mix
Have fun and vape on....... http://vapetherockies.com/products/ |

| Being a strictly tobacco vaper myself, I appreciate these types of reviews, thanks gma.
Vapenstein is also one of my go to guys for tobacco vape reviews.
Keep up the good work, look forward to more

| Thank You Sir
Sometimes wish the descriptive style and overall honesty of Vapestein could be duplicated....and he's the best and most knowledgeable for tobacco vapes. Having said that, we're not all strictly pipe or cigar type vapors, and there is an in between alternative for tobacco nuance.
On the easy side of The Dr? This is great stuff and every time I venture out for something new, I regret it almost always.
It is as described and a very good mystery vape. Nothing like interesting while trying out the new mico brew. Appreciate your comments and this tobacco is very, very good. |

| While I was a smoker I only enjoyed cigs, never delved into the pipe or cigar realm, now I find myself curious to try these as vapes.

This is not a pipe tobacco one would describe as stout. It's subtle and would much more resemble an analog. Need to be clear as the tobacco flavoring target is cavendish, but it's not like smoking a pipe in harshness. The reason I mentioned the softer side is the pipe and cigar lover's propensity for liking strong flavors of tobacco, while I prefer the target taste.....without the bold delivery or stout flavor. In this case, it's the overtone of light chocolate/cavendish with vanilla undertone. It's just smooth.
And Hey Berger! You and Steam still holding the fort, I see. Looks like Tek is still around as well. We'll see ya every now and then.... |

| Always open to this type flavor. Could you elaborate on the vendor and product? Seems we're talking pipe vape properties, and I'm not connecting with vape juice.
Perhaps if we set the pipe and pouch down....dummy here can figure out what your saying about juice. Sorry if it seems I'm a little punchy, but what is it your recommending?
Thanks, and juice sounds interesting. |

| Hi,Mav nice to see you again. Yeah, sounds like Guilia is rolling her own topic.
Guilia, you do know we're an electronic vaping site don't you? Thread hijacking is a given around here, but not generally about tobacco smoking products;except as a matter of comparison to vaping equipment and supplies.

Guess I'm a little confused on what the poster is trying to say, but always looking for new juice, if it's defined and reasonably projected. Have 4 main vendors now, and do not stray far from the vaping juice nest.
VTR is just fine.
Vermillion River is right there. (vanilla is all day vape)
Backwoods Brew is a given.
Halo, still in the mix. (Tribeca is a must)
Guess I do ask for samples on equipment purchases, but the top four juice vendors are hard to crack. Done wasting my money on trials. Wouldn't it be great if we could get batts, juice, delivery devices, accessory; all from the same place? Into tanks now and the 1.7 or Boge 2.0 is still king with these.
How ya doin?

| I enjoy the tanks as well and shortened up a couple of 3.5s for the boge 2.0s. Liked tribeca immensely. I stumbled on a new rave juice for me: 2 parts Camel,1 Honey at around 9mg/ml and I've gone through 12mls in 5 days just a light sweet tobacco but I love it.

| Bikes....send me a PM and let me know of what you speak. I'm happy with juices right now, but your description has my attention.
Berger is laying in the weeds somewhere, and I must say hello to Rose. Not much time for being on the forum, but good to hear from the old gang.
Thanks for the reply.......Maverick |
