Hi to everybody!

For the last year i have been working on designing and making a new electronic pipe. Is named simply Cartopipe because it uses a regular cartomizer. It is simple to use, it has manual activation and is powered by a 18350 or a 123a 3.7v battery.

I was an avid pipe smoker before i got sick and the DSE 601 broke on me on the second day of use. I decided to make my own and in the process i have patented and made the first prototypes that i have been testing for more than 2months before i dare to present them to you. i love the looks of conventional pipes reason for which i have did my best to keep the classic look.

I would appreciate some feedback before i will spend more money to become a supplier and get a website and all that comes with that. i will me happy to answer any questions you may have

O_O I want!

Perhaps, though, I would sincerely recommend covering up the battery. That's concerning to be able to see the battery exposed.

I'm also not familiar with the 18350. The 16340 is similar to the RC123a battery, if that's what you meant.

I have been testing this configuration for more than 2 months . every time when i was in public with a covered battery i got in trouble. as soon as i left the battery exposed i got smiles and curious nonsmokers and smokers alike. more than that i got non smokers to encourage me to keep the good work!!!

I think it looks very classy! I like the bowl, although I personally prefer fluted bowls for pipes, but that's just my opinion. CartoHeadMod, a resident of this forum, made a suggestion that someone should consider making a pipe mod based off of a Kirsten pipe design. I would recommend one with a full bend and a fluted bowl if you are looking for alternative designs.

Also, how fluid is the draw with the ring still in the end of the cartomizer?

send me a picture
the draw is similar with a pipe. and very similar with an EGO
Curve designs are not very good for a e pipe because somewhere inside you have to fit a 9.2 mm cartomizer.

Then perhaps a clear plastic, acrylic, or glass cover? It's just more than the looks, it's potentially dangerous.

This is almost exactly what I had in mind. This is a Kirsten pipe with a full bend and a fluted bowl.

If the stem was cut half way up and used as a sort of similar heat sink as what the eGo uses (the cone), you could hide an atomizer and maybe even a cartomizer.

Of course!

Protected or not though, an exposed battery can warrant innumerable problems that can lead to catastrophic battery failure. When it comes to Li-ion batteries, you cannot be too careful, and your customers will appreciate it.

It takes me about 4 hours to make one. Unfortunately it will be in the vicinity of $100

And that will not include batteries or chargers. customers have to choose what batteries and chargers they want .

hand modified to house all internal parts. the pipe is custom made for me based on my design. and the design was made specifically to fit certain parts.
