| Alright guys. I have a question. Filling my D1 cartomizers with VG turns out to not have been too smart. I've got a bunch of new ones coming from Mike and I'm going to start all over again.
Question is this:
When you get pre-filled cartomizers, do you use just one and keep topping it off until it dies, (unless you want a different flavor, of course) or do you smoke it til it needs refilling, set it aside and get out a new one, then refill a whole bunch of them at once?
Same with blanks once you fill?
I'm thinking I'm going to just keep topping off til death before I open a new one. That's not how I did it last time.

I'm thinking I'm going to just keep topping off til death before I open a new one. That's not how I did it last time. | Well I have the blanks and I load it up and wait for it to" soak" in. I ordered ten butonly filled 3. One I will syringe wash the icky strawberry flavor right out. The other two ill just wash once in a while unless I get a bad flavor.
As far as pre filled I wash em and start fresh and once again use till I put bad flavor in.
My question on unflavored is how does it taste and is it bad to just use that.
But that's what I do... and I am new.... day twelve. Thank god for this forum I have learned alot here. |

I'm thinking I'm going to just keep topping off til death before I open a new one. That's not how I did it last time. | I just keep opening them and then every once in a while I grab a used one and fill it. I have roughly 30 used ones that need to be refilled right now. I noticed that on the 808D-1s that too much VG in them and refilling them without a break will degrade the element. Just what I have found. |

That's why I started cutting the VG with distilled water as instructed by Rocket, Berger, Steam..... I forget who. Anyway, that did seem to help but they don't seem to vape nearly as well with VG as they do with PG. Since I don't have a problem with PG, guess I'll just stay with that.

| I keep a few of my main vapes and refill with the same juices all the time but you need to cap them off to keep them fresh. I never do more then a few at a time and keep them in a segmented box to keep the flavors straight. Some flavors cant be gotten rid of after you used them like menthol.

I can definitely taste alcohol. I'm a milk, hot tea, and coffee drinker. Can't stand alcohol (maybe once a year a good sangria or pina colada) and can't get past the smell of beer.
Oh yea, this time of year, I love egg nog! Can drink a whole quart at once!

Actually, I vape the prefilleds until they start to drop off, and then just refill them with a similar flavor. And I usually have 3-4 atties/carts running at the same time; a 3 ohm on my computer mod, a 3 ohm on my Atty Smasher in the car, a 2 ohm for use on batteries, and a CE2. Actually, I have been using CE2s on the computer mod since I came to terms with them. And, I have so far burned out more CE2s than even 2 Ohm cartomizers (1). I vape them incessantly until they gum up and then open a new one, usually 5-12 days. The Ce2s until they burn out. And I don't clean them. I tried that once and except for the one that burned out after a few days, it only lasted about 2 days after 'cleaning', and still tasted bad.
At $1.89, just open a new one...

2. Remove white caps from cartomizers.
3. Insert cartomizers so that they are fully submerged.
4. Allow to boil for 10-15 minutes.
5. Remove from heat and dump out boiling water.
6. Run cold water over cartomizers.
7. Once cooled, blow out excess water.
8. Set cartomizers, open mouthpiece down, on a paper towel overnight to dry.
9. Fill, place cap back on, vape! |

Pthers have also said that VG causes atty problems, but I like the taste of VG based juices better than PG, and esp the Vt Vapor flavors. They actually taste like what they say they taste like.

| I keep filling mine til they die Teri ...or to the point the performance starts to suck and I toss them. Usually I'll get 3-4 days from a mega, filling the blank @ 1.6ml and refilling with .9ml. Seems to me I get less burnt taste from the megas |
