| Hi, got another newb question....
So, today i decided to practice taking apart a cart for refilling, since our order for ejuice should be delivered in a few days...
I took the plastic ring out, and was suprised to find there wasn't an O ring, since everything i have read so far mentions an O ring, and LeCig shows one in his video, but ok, whatever, this one doesn't have it.
But what it does have is a hard plastic inner casing thing. I can see the filler stuffing, but i can't get to it, and i can't seem to get it out. I have tried tapping, banging, and gently prying. I can get it to slide up, but i can't seem to get it past the lip of the cart, so i can get hold of it and pull it out.
The casing has one flat "side" but i am afraid to pry too hard.
Suggestions, ideas, work arounds? |

Suggestions, ideas, work arounds? | never heard about a 808 cartomizer looking like that inside. even though they are inexpensive try not to ruin it just yet. post a photo if you can, ill try and look it up and find something on the web about it and post it here. i'll PM you my email to send me a photo also, i'm really interested in getting a look at this thing. |

| well it seems like you got yourself some Greencig cartomizers. i hear they are a nightmare to refill. but they are designed to not burn incidentally like kr808 cartos. i did find a short video on youtube that could help you out. heres the link. YouTube - Greencig refill with hypo needle.
you might want to buy a pack of regular 808 cartos and see if you might like those better. |

Suggestions, ideas, work arounds? | Back in the day (when we did the first video) the cartomizers used to have that, but since then almost all cartomizers that I know of now have a silicone ring ... it is basically the same thing just softer and one piece |

I noticed on some 510s I was getting a 'plastic' taste, and when I would pull the cart, the bottom was melting! That can NOT be good for you!!! So I use 901 carts. Work just as well, no melting plastic.

Suggestions, ideas, work arounds? | Hi Emantha!
I will give you a little newbie advice (because I am one). Please, use the needle method to refill them. It makes a world of difference. Neeever the condom method! |

| Greencigs are totally awesome as far as vapor goes, ( must be a superior design) but after a refill or two of your custom mix using the filling method mentioned above they can taste pretty damn great too! (I like a higher mg of nic.)
(I don't use them constantly, but I still have one out of five working that I received from LeCig back in Jan 2010!) LeCig's selection of Carto's Rock!
( Shamelessly insures being on new calendar for 2011 list.)

Even better, i called LeCig today and have some different, and hopefully easier to refill carts on the way.
I seem to have gone into vaping overdrive, as i have already emptied one cart today, and am working on a second cart that is quickly losing it's vapor and flavor... does this mean i have moved from a pack a day to 2 "packs"? And here i thought i was gonna get healthier not make my addiction worse
*mumbles to self* but i did drop 400 some odd other chemicals and harmful substances, right? |

Oh silly me...... I should have realized I was talking to the warlord of the atty smashers.
I dont use atomizers after reading your posts.
Thanks again for taking one (hundred or so) for the team!

Thanks again for taking one (hundred or so) for the team! | ROFL! Hey, ask others, some have gotten MONTHS out of their atties!
Oh, shoot, now I PI$$3D myself off...time for a ciggy!
Other than that, glad to be of service! However, if you haven't tried a regular atty, pick up a couple. The one thing the cartomizers haven't matched yet is passing along the flavor from the juice. I don't drink very much at all anymore, but when I have a gig I take a cartomizer for regular duty and a 510 atomizer for the one or two drinks I do have, just because they taste so darn GOOD!

| Anyone try the condom method with the Greencig Carts? I used a needle on them first time, but that was a pain. Easier to just slip them into a rubber cap and force the liquid in through the mouthpiece end. Takes half the time and get in more liquid. The wetter the better! |

| I used vanilla juice, which I dislike, now After changing cartridges I cannot get rid of the vanilla taste. What to do? Also I just bought the 901 starter kit and love the juice in their cartridges, does anyone know what it is? Thanks

| Changing flavors always leaves a bit of the old flavor in the atomizer. You can either vape through it, clean the atomizer or try cartomizers. I hear that KR808-D1 cartomizers should work with the 901 battery. I know 901 atomizers can be used with KR808D-1 batteries. |

Try menthol. It will cover up the vanilla, but will never go away either.
as far as the juice in factory 901 carts, you must have gotten 'new carts' ,
Mine tasted like I just found an old cigarette butt in a can of flat Coke
