| Has anyone here tried freezing their smoke juice? I hear it has a shelf life of like 2 years, but was just wondering for people looking to stockpile. thanks again. |

| Good luck getting Propylene Glycol based juice to freeze.
It's just food grade antifreeze.
What I wonder is, what happens after 2 years? taste bad? loses strength? IDK
Also, how much juice could you need to have it last more than two years. I go through 3ml a day. so, I would have to have more than a 2-liter bottle on hand before I need to worry about a 2-year expiration. Oh wait... I guess I do...better get off here and get to some heavy vapin'

| I vacuum seal mine and keep in a cool, dark place. I've read that it's not good to let it get below about 35-40 degrees when storing. I don't know for sure. I wouldn't freeze it, however. |

I've only been vaping about 7 months... so its too soon for me to speak from personal experience.

| The shelf life for both PG and Liquid Nicotine is from 1 1/2 years to 2 years but understand that once the container is opened the shelf life will degrade due to contact with air and light. Sealed containers will maintain the shelf life stated on the package and possibly last longer if stored properly. |

| Freeze update:
250ml of VtVapor 35mg/ml VG unflavored was place in the freezer stash on 08/22/09. I broke it out 02/08/10 and let it warm up, shook the sheeet out of it and mixed up about 300ml of 12mg/ml Grape, plus some other assorted fruity flavors, but mostly grape, and mostly VG (running low on PG). Almost a month's supply ready to go.
and i used my Visolocometer to get the drop time to 1.5minutes/ml using just a little 100 proof.
No noticeable taste shift from about 6 months in the freezer. The unflavored sealed and back in the freezer, the grape in the fridge (most of it).

Now, when trying to freeze either of these solutions, you have to consider the Freezing Point for nicotine, if you indeed have nicotine in the juice. Nicotine freezes at -79 ° Celsius (or -110° Fahrenheit). The amount of nicotine that you add to your juice will truly determine what temperature your juice will freeze at.

| The 35mg/ml VG unflavored probably has in addition to the 3.5% Nicotine, about 12 to 15 % water to thin it. It was not frozen at zero F. Thicker for sure but not frozen. My concern was separation after warming it up. And of course taste.
Seemed fine.

Rocket | I wouldn't worry too much over the solutions separating. If nothing else, a swish around should bring things back to par depending on the size being thawed. Maybe adding a drop of purified water would help to bring things back together as it would (barely) dilute the solutions and thus allowing them to come together... right now... over me. Sorry, been listening to the Beatles lately.

| I orderd 60ml of vg and got snowed in so i didn't even check the mail for a week. When I got it, it was so thick, it would not drip, but not frozen. I rolled a bottle in my hands to warm it up for about 5 mins and it vaped just fine. temp was 10 to 25 degrees F outside.
more to the 2 yr point, I will tell you in 2 years. I just put a 5ml bottle away in my fav flavor and I will vape it on 2/10/12 and get back to you.
unless, Rocket develops a time machine powered by a USB passthrough that allows me to visit the future, test the 2 year old bottle, return to present day, and edit this post for you. |

The world ends in 2012. Granted it's in December, but I wouldn't plan for much. You should see my credit card bills. They're higher than my cholesterol!

I'll age it using a secret acceleration method we developed here at the Rocket factory, vape it (saves you the trouble) and report back how it turned out

Back on track, hehe;
A VG mix might settle out (maybe?) during the freezing/thawing. If the VG separates and freezes (crystallizing) then the remaining liquid (water, NIC, whatever else) may have a higher NIC content than originally. If no signs of crystallization or appearance of striations when held up to the light it survived (I think).
Great that your VG based NIC juice didn't "freeze"
(if you see this post today, I made it back. If you saw this post yesterday, I overshot, and if this post is not here, well that's a bad sign for sure)
