Sorry blue, basically the IPro uses a dial (thumbwheel) to dial in your voltage from 3.3 to 5.5 volts. Has an extended 510 connection. Uses (2) 14340 batts.

More details: (see pricing and options here): http://www.notcigs.com/ipro/

15 watts maximum power output
Wheel adjustable voltage dial
Improved battery life 2 x 's avg. , we have a new controller that is MUCH more efficeint. avg. 15 hrs per charge
New finish , blasted finish with no knurling , it will improve the slip factor !
Uses same batteries as the original Infinity 14430 , and charger so no need to buy new batts etc.
3-3 to 5.5 volt adjustment
New top cap design for a sleeker look.
Over current Protection
Over temp. protection
Reverse Battery protection
Size 4.75" long x .72" 18mm around

The Lavatube uses small push buttons (3) 1.on/off 2.+(plus) 3.-(minus) for adjustment 3v to 6v in 1v increments and a larger single fire button on the side, has a flush mount 510 connection. Uses (1) 18650 batt.

More details: (see pricing and options here): http://www.volcanoecigs.com/lavatube.html

Selectable voltage from 3v to 6v in 0.1v increments
Power on/Off Button - hold the button down for 5 seconds to turn the device on, hold the button again for 5 seconds to turn the device off.
+ Button: On press, increases voltage by .1 increments between 3volt and 6 volt. When you reach 6 volts, the user starts back at 3 volts
- Button: On press, decreases voltage by .1 increments between 3volt and 6 volt. When you reach 3 volts, the user starts back at 6 volts
+ and – Button: Press and hold both buttons for five second to disable the + and – button, locking the device on the voltage it is currently set at.
Regulated output which keeps the voltage the same with each puff - regardless of the remaining battery power. As the battery drains, the device will keep the voltage consistent.
If the activation button is held down for 10 seconds or longer, the LAVATUBE will shut itself off until the button is released. To prevent overheating the atomizer and the device.
Short Circuit/Atomizer Protection. The LAVATUBE can recognize an atomizer with too low of a resistance for the current voltage setting and will drop the voltage to 3.7v to protect both the battery and atomizer. If the atomizer is too low or shorted out it will shut off power to the device to protect the LAVATUBE from being damaged.
Reverse Battery Protection – Protects the device in case you put the battery in the device backwards
Battery Monitoring/Over-Discharge Protection – The device will monitor the battery voltage and automatically turn off when the battery is discharged, preventing damage to the battery by overly depleting it.
Battery Voltage Meter. The LAVATUBE has a voltage meter built in, simply press the red power button 7 times and it will display the voltage of the battery for a few seconds. This way you can monitor the power left in the battery before it needs to be recharged. 18650 batteries provide 4.2v at peak charge and over the life of the battery that voltage will decrease to about 3.3v level before needing to be recharged. This will help you monitor the life cycle of the battery. The LCD screen will flash when the battery needs to be recharged, and will stop powering the device.
Amperage Limiting to 2.5 amps – The device should monitor and shut itself off if it detects any excessive over-current conditions.
Vent hole on the bottom of the device for added safety

Well there's a different co-op for riva/ego batts and cartos in the works right now, and shek is waiting on a spreadsheet from L-rider on the lavatubes, so it may be a little while before we know for sure.

Just because the LT has more Gee-Gaws doesn't necessarily make it better than the IPro, they are completely different animals that perform similar functions. If I could only have one PV choice of these two, I would still choose the IPro even though it costs a little more.

But getting an LT or 2 on the cheap is cool for a back-up VVPV, you know...just in case

Well I would not consider the IPro with it's very hard to find 14430 cells (except at NotCigs). Although the mAh is listed as 650mAh (bull crap), most 14500s are actually lower than that. I would guess after about 50 charge cycles you'd be in the ~450mAh range.

Go with the Buzz Pro which uses the much more readily available RCR123A/16340s. More true mAh, more choices and longer vapetimes.

The blems he lists @ $120 would be the way to go if on a budget.

Nice info Pit. Good job. I'd just said they're in 2 separate classes.
