| The local convenience store got a box of Blu Disposables yesterday. A girl I know bought one and I saw her at a local watering hole, but by the time she got there I wasn't seeing too well and didn't notice the Blu logo. I took a couple hits and was astounded at the amount of vapor the thing was producing. By that time my taste buds were also gone so I couldn't tell it had Johnson's Creek juice in it (as D said a long time ago, "it tastes like shortbread cookies"). I was going to ask her for hers when it quits, but I went for a cuppa this morning and couldn't resist.
It's a $10 unit but it is bigger than a standard 'mini', so I'm guessing it's a 280mah battery. Unfortunately, it's ONE piece, so there doesn't appear to be a way to recharge it; once it's done, it's done. It also has what looks like a cartomizer with the hard plastic tip, so I guess you could add juice by yanking the tip out and refilling, but unless you can charge the battery there's no point.
Still, my first impression is WOW! It throws out a TON of vapor, and with the Johnson's juice it has an OK flavor. It says "Traditional Flavor", but, we're talking Johnson's Creek here, so you get...shortbread cookie. Still, not bad by any means.
I bought it at 9 AM and have been hitting it for about a full hour and it's still throwing a cloud. IIRC, it was Count Vapula who was saying the Blu was an OK e cig, and I can see why. Of course, the package says "Equals ten packs", but we all know it's more like "Equals 10 ciggies..." if that.
I'm going to keep using it throughout the day and come up with more later. Gotta say though, if you're out and about and run out of juice or batteries, this is a GOOD alternative to get you through until you can get replenished!

| So, not being able to leave ANYTHING alone, I popped out the hard plastic tip. It is pretty much a standard cartomizer, center coil down the middle and filler around it, but there is not a lot of filler taste at all. Tha flavor of the juice really shines through. There is NOT a lot of juice in this thing, so I filled it with some of my tobacco mix, a combination of VG/PG juices and a Nicotine "fortifier". Replaced the tip with a soft tip from a Boge, and the thing is still vaping up a storm. I would put it against a 650 eGo with a 2.5 ohm cart easily. Now, the only thing that remains is battery life....

| I know wetwire used the Blu and the Century 21 (I think) at first and he liked them. I've been testing out a disposable unit for 2 weeks now. The batt and cartos are still going strong.

| Yea honestly your right, I started out with the Njoy and bought a couple of 280mah bats and some cartos started DIY and yes I have to admit the new bats and org bat would put out a ton of vapor just like my ego I have now but the flavor of that Njoy was horrible. I just moved up cause I got tired of recharging, and those 280's I would get at least 3 hrs out of them

| $10 for a disposable equal to 10 cigs, $20 for a small batt that can be recharged but need an additional $20 for cartos.... jeeze... would be cheaper to smoke and much less hassle. For that amount of money could get a real nice mod and come out cheaper. |

I've been saying all along that I don't begrudge my NPro, because it introduced me to vaping. Sure, there are serious drawbacks to those kinds of models (which is why I moved on), but they sell to more 1st timers than any big-battery mod sort of PV could ever do. |

To me, it says something about a company that is willing to just take the first large sales by overcharging and making stuff that forces the end user to return to them for supplies. I have never used their products so I can't say how good or bad they are but knowing a little something about the other stuff out there to compare it to, I'd say they are taking advantage of people. |

| I totally understand where you're coming from, but consider the markup they have to make just to make a profit on a product they weren't sure would even sell. Big risks should provide big rewards, if things "pan out" (intentional Gold Rush Era slang, haha). Once they decide they like it, they can start looking for better deals. That NJoy Npro probably saved a good bit of my life, so I think overall it was worth it, and I don't begrudge them a nickel. |

I am glad to see them coming more into the market and introducing it to those who never heard of it. Maybe as more enter, pricing will become more competitive... then of course the gov will have to get their hands in the cookie jar.
I bought the very expensive SmokeStik when I started. Spent nearly $400 on my first e-cig purchase, which eventually lead me to seeking cheaper alternatives and longer battery life, which lead me here. I don't begrudge SmokeStik either and they were kind enough to accept my return of the kit and cartos and refunded money. |

| Wow, $400 would have hurt my feelings a bit, I was paying around $90 for my starter kits... Therein lies the difference in our point of views, I would imagine, LOL! |

I can't recall but I think the battery kit was around 100 but can't remember. My order with shipping almost topped $400. |

I have been pointing them out to people and saying, get one of those, and if you like it, come see me!

Then I came HERE and started asking and decided a 510 was what I wanted. I have spent probably $500 in 510s, juice, atomizers and carts...since I started 2 years ago...
Damn sight better than cigs at $8 a pack, or even RYOs at $3 a pack!

| Berger - They have changed the juice since your review. They are great on taste. In fact I will say this. From all the different juices in different battery configs. Ego, mods, minis etc. The Blu is without doubt the best vape I have had. And Steam, my own personal tastes are that the Blu has the best flavor I have had also. My wife on the other hand only liked them instead of loved them like me.
As for any kind of cookie taste.. not at all. Maybe they are different. Mine was very smoky/woody kinda taste. The best tasting vape I have had so far. I wish I new which juice they used. I wrote extensively about them here awhile back.
