exactly, holding that button down for 3-5 gives a throat hit that an auto could never do

Maybe a mod can change this into a poll thread.

Until they do, I vote manual. An automatic has one additional failure mode. One extra part to fail and leave you high and dry.

I tried; I think it has to be done on the initial post. Either that or I just don't have enough of a juice card...

You probably needed to get in before post 2.

But, we see the trend here.

Automatic based on sucking didn't do well in the past.
Now if it was based on brain waves - - - -

Mood changes can be accomplished with 115v a/c or pulsed dc at the end of a spark plug wire, difficult to vape with though.

I think only newbies think they prefer auto, but if one is going to cease tobacco use via vaping, then manual batteries are a must. I tried an auto recently and I don't know how people use them. Whatever works and keeps people from smoking is fine by me though.

I am just sounding like an ass**** tonight time for bed

Manual. Not just about control, but also the tactile satisfaction and ritual component. All of it helps with analog elimination for me. My first ecig was automatic, next order was manual on a whim, and I'd never go back

Me neither and now that I have a PV where I can replace the batteries, don't think I will go back to non-replaceable ones.
