Desktop or laptop? If it's a desktop, new MoBo time! (You could try to put in a new fuse....good luck there!)
This is why I use a passthru with a battery! The USB port charges the battery and the battery supplies the juice to the atty.

| Thanks,Hachi the single source of onboard PS was my guess. The desktop is an antique
came with OS W95 I've upgraded PS once and RAM twice. USB still transfers data from mp3 and camera just no 5v juice. Isn't Fathers day soon? |

| If it's really old a ISA card or PCI card with multiple USB ports for $10 or so gets you power. kill the card only the card dies. I knew it had to be a desktop.
Because NO ONE powers a passthru from a laptop usb port.
You can always wait until the new computer comes in before you fix the old one.
always handy to have a back up.

| Probably wont fix this for a while but thanks for the tip didn't think about a pci card. all of my PCs have been hand me downs from the wife and her last 3 have been laptops distributed through the Offspring Support System Omnibus so I'm no longer in the loop.
Besides I have motorcycles and a drug (nic) habit to support. Will probably end up with a 2 amp wallwart for the passthrough. |

| Currently undergoing destructive testing: LeCig D1 Cartomizer (going on 10 days), LeCig D2 Cartomizer (about two weeks, but gumming up...), LiteCig 510 Cartomizer (also two weeks, not gumming up and producing a lot of vapor, but like sucking on an open straw (?)), and a LiteCig Expert 510 atomizer (just started today).
The Cartos hold up the the Atty Smasher quite well, and when they get too gummy for 3.7V, they run for about another week at 4.2V.

| I think 60mg/ml would be fast approaching a health concern if you accidentally got a "wet atty" and got some juice in your mouth. A ml ain't a lot of juice. Vape for a while, drop or two on your hand while refilling, drop or two in your mouth, sounds like an accident waiting to happen. Double barrel 36mg/ml would NIC up a horse.
Now I don't know how this ended up here, but my view on vaping hot juice.

Rocky | I was only joking. I hope no one took me seriously!
Seriously, Rocket is right. Be careful with nicotine, kiddies!
Now, about that 36mG on a Double Barrel...

| Finally killed a Cartomizer. It was the first 510 cartomizer I got from LiteCig, and has been in use for approx a month or 5 weeks now. It started gumming up about a week ago, but would still put out vapor when pressed, especially on the 4.2V Atty Smasher. Last night it had kind of a weird taste (old juice) and was very, very weak on vapor production.
I got home today and sat down at the console, stuck it on to the Atty Smasher and...stone cold. Not a thing. Done, finished, kaput. However, since it cost about $1.75, and not $8-10 like a regular Joye 510, and I got more than a month out of it, I am certainly not disappointed!
I'm putting this here, but also starting a thread called "Just testing" so hopefully some of you will add your experiences, good and bad with the atomizers you have.

| In case you missed the carlos juice box viddy, here is the link again: The rebuilt juice box - E-Cigarette Forum
2nd video down. I've heard from other fellow hard cores that his homemade attys can withstand even the abuse you put the poor little atty through LOL |

| Cooked a 510 cartomizer today. The first one I burned out and not just quit by gumming up.
It was about a week old, but had been subjected to heavy use. I think it was an SLB Soft Top, IIRC.
The Boge hard tops go 10-14 days and then just get too gummy to use.

LeCig 808 D2 cartomizer. Just started, lots of steam!
"Expert" 510 with a wider bridge, but a different model than I'm used to getting.

A jewler told me it's something to do with my electomagnetic waves. I can only wear a watch with a solid plastic case around it like a Swatch watch.

Sounds like a magnetic personality to me.
I really need to be listening to "Green River" one of those song I have a mental block about and screw up every time we play it...

| No nothing that dramatic they just stop working after a few days. Before I knew about the magnetic thing I just I had always purchased cheaply made watches. So I bought an expensive 14 kt gold watch with a lifetime warantee from a jeweler. I returned it to be repaired so many times he bought it back from me. And told me to never darken his doorstep again.
