This started off being a holder for attys/batts. I modified it to be an atty dryer.

I used a tablesaw to make saw kerfs criss-cross across the bottom to connect the holes. Glued 1/8" wood all around, and added a 1/4" barbed connector:

A piece of 1/4" latex tube and a cheap desiccant filter from Harbor Freight are connected:

Hook it up to an air source set down to about 10psi, and, automatic drying! This one holds up to 24 pieces. I put unused carts in the holes not being used.

I use my air compressor, but a large aquarium air pump would work as well. The desiccant cartridge assures the air is dry and clean. Dries them bone dry in less than a few minutes.

Nice work. Not sure anyone will need to dry 24 at a time, but I think you could market 2-6 atty capacity units. I would be in the market for one.

Great job Rick!

It looks like one my cart filler/holder projects. You have to plan for future needs!

Thanks Laz- I've only used it once for 20 atomizers when I bought an e-liquid sample pack and tried out 20 flavors. I agree it's overkill, but I managed to salvage a holder that I outgrew.

Thanks -

This came about because I didn't plan ahead! I found myself with an equipment holder that ran out of space. So I tinkered.

I'm currently working on a similar project (much larger) that should hold all my hardware with room to spare. It's about 5" x 14" and will look essentially the same as this (without the plumbing). I plan on hinging it on the long side and attaching it to the "hutch" that is on my computer desk. Like this:

That way, it's out of the way, but I can swing it out to use it. It'll have 120+ holes in it and will hold batteries, atomizers and carts. Hopefully, I wont run out of room on this one! I'll post again when I make it.
