I have been buying juice like crazy and found a few that I love but many more that are just no good at all. There are quite a few that have what is described as a perfumey smell, chemically etc. i am assuming that these need to steep to let those chemicals evaporate, or flavors blend. Some have been around for three weeks or so and still smell and taste awful.

Are there any tried and true mixtures that work well.

Some things that I have that taste awful: Vanilla 24mg Peach Cobbler 12mg Blueberry 12mg (its getting better), Apple cinn 18mg, Cappuccino, Banana , A bad peach 24mg and a good peach 4mg I would just combine these but dont want to screw the good one up, 555 12mg, There are more as well and some loranns cherry, butter rum, carmel and peach flavoring as well as some VG

Hopefully I can work with this to make it through until my ivape peach and my dig cigz honey beez gets here (great stuff) also lovin' the halo tribecca, but ran through that as well.

If you find out, please share, because I have two bottles of Taramisu that would taint my 'Pot Luck' bottle beyond vapability.

I already have kind of a pot luck bottle going and only the extras from fills/spills of the stuff that I like has gone in. its not much yet but could be interesting very soon, I fear that any of thiose flavors listed would completely screw it up.

i have read many recipes and tried my own half-assed DIY only to make about 20 mls of completely gone, un-vapable abominations.

I guess I should get around to reading rockets DIY thread.

Have only been doing this since February, but no cigarettes since then. The cost of juice is nothing compared to the health, smell, freedom (Starbucks aside) benefits. I've also found that my taste buds are still adusting. Also suggested, I think by Berger, mix it and then let it sit for a day. Seems to help with the sweeter stuff for me. Maybe the volatiles.
Typo of adjusting, but decided that adusting was more apropos. Glad your here.

Actually don't remember (sub-conscious blocking memory ).
I like the desert, but like several juice flavors that sound good, I did not like the taste. Probably just me.

Actually I hold onto everything...for the most part...unless some poor suc......err one of my friends here likes a particular flavor I dont..
I have found a small amount of something I dislike may work well mixed into something else just as a change of pace....except bacon and waffles...that should be used on real analogs maybe..and were not going there...

imho, there are a few ways to deal with unwanted or un liked flavors,
1 As stated b4, to send them away, i do a lot of it on my show.. Just cause i dont like it dont mean you wont...
2 Steeping, in a safe area out of kids reach leave a open bottle sitting, maby a few days weeks longer.. 2b time setting, i ordered orange creamsical and it was way tooooo strong when i got it, let it sit for 3 moths it rocked...
3 Microwave. Now this is a lil more advanced aging process that takes 5 sec at a time in the microwave machine. 5 min to cool. The action of heating it up will get the juice thinner, but also works very well with thick vg to thin, and cause certian stuff to disappear.

I'm with Tek on steeping.
Some juices change or mellow out after a couple weeks of sitting.

Others that I can't vape by themselves, can add a more tolerable subtle note to other flavors, especially tobaccos, when added in very small amounts.

Funny...VR juices seem to loose flavors over time to me...always seem best initially and then drop off..
I hope Teks post doesn't bring the men in black around..but then again...that does explain some things...

My favorite bad juice remedy: send it to someone or throw it away. Simple and easy.

Ditto. If it isn't good out the bottle, I'm not messing with it.

Triple shots are better but still not quite strong enough over time. I may get too used to them with my constant vaping though.

I wonder what the actual flavoring percentage is on these single, double, and triple shots?

Some recipes I've tried are strong enough at 10%, some at 15%, and one recent one I almost gave up on until I tried it at 20% and the difference between 17% and 20% was night and day.
I haven't mixed anything higher than 20% on any of my recipes yet.
To double or triple shot that one you may as well just drop some pure nic in the flavoring bottle and vape it straight.

I did find it's the flavorings that add the perfumy taste. The local conv store has a machines that spits flavorings into your coffee, and I brought a small bottle I had gotten a juice sample in and put some of the flavoring in the bottle, added it to my unflavored nic juice, and got Verry Berry Perfume. Would have been good without that perfumy aftertaste.

BTW, it was "Propylene Glycol with natural and artificial flavorings".

I would love to know more about the flavorings part and that perfume aftertaste issue
There are some major flavoring companies I think many people use and Im sure are resold under various names as well adding additional confusions to the matter
I also wonder quite a bit about candy flavorings versus other kinds and if there are major differences depending on base types
Has anybody seen a good site for information on this anywhere by chance?
