| A friend of mine is considering vaping, but he's particular to cloves. I told him there are many clove flavors on the market, but he's not convinced that they would have the same general effect- the slight numbing and burning sensation that he gets from the burning clove oils in a clove cig. Has anyone tried any? And if so, can you compare them to your analog experiences?

That never made burn or get numb. |

However, if THESE guys have it, it's probably good. The truest flavors I have found yet. You can get 'samples' for about $3. |

Vapes are never the same as smoking anyway

| I ordered some Clove flavoring from Perfumers Apprentice. It smells like clove oil. It TASTES like clove oil. It NUMBS my tongue like clove oil when I taste it. I mixed up what I thought would be a strong batch, only to find it weak as kittens. It needs to be sweetened a lot, and it needs to be blended with ... stuff. Lots of other stuff. Tea and black tobacco and maybe a little citrus. But it's undeniably CLOVES. Taste and weird numbing effect all get a "Yes" checkmark. Just posting to share in case someone looks up clove juice later on.

| I am not a clove fan at all, but my buddy loves it and he uses the clove juice from: Clove. It smells great, but I only like the aroma of cloves, not the taste.

As I said when I started, I was taste-testing and looking for advice for a friend. I'm not much of a fan of clove myself.

I spotted that in the thread you had on it. Awesome. Only troubles I've had are, once, I made the filler too thick, and ended up with the base of my driptip touching it. Sucked a mouthful of juice, and didn't do that again. And I've forgotten the stuff is there sometimes when cleaning a batch of atties. Makes them dry a whole lot slower. *lol* (Point: remove the fluval-foamies when you're drying atties. *doh*)

Clove is a natural analgesic. Ever use Oragel? yup. same stuff in it.
Personally, not too impressed with clove juice. I smoke cloves to enjoy the taste, the 'kretek' sound (which is where Djarum Kreteks get their name), and the mix of fine tobacco and clove (plus that numbing you get in your lungs and mouth when smoking)
i'm stikin with my analogs.

Take it easy ok. | Wow. playing psp. how old are you? i've got a 7 year old cousin addicted to that thing.
I vape, but i am into the modding side mostly. Sometimes smoking analogs is not about feeding the nic fit, its about the experience. Cloves and cigars are one of those experiences.

Take it easy ok. | There's nothing here that says you can't vape and smoke analogs while being a member here. I'm glad that I smoke about 1/3 the number that I did before starting to vape. Sometimes when people dive in head first and get all gung-ho about an issue, it doesn't last. It's like going on a diet. If you starve yourself, it's a temporary fix. Where as if you learn to eat a balanced diet, you will keep the weight off. It's about lifestyle changes. |

Do you know the flavor pumpkin pie gets? or the smell that alot of potpourri's have? that is cloves.
Mix that with dark, rich tobaccos (similar to filterless Camels, or pipe tobacco) and you have cloves
They leave a distinct sweetness behind, and also have a natural analgesic effect...Your lips, tongue, and throat turn a slight bit numb. Its enjoyable, though.

| Also in VA and PA too, but generally at tobacco shops. DE knows MDers come get 'em there. Dont be surprised if you spend something like $7 on them, though. Last time i bought a carton in Philly it was $80

| I did not like the clove at all!!! I normally did not smoke clove cigarettes anyways but I would every onced in a awhile with friends ( when I was still on analogs). I tasted clove ejuice and it was awful..Like smoking cinnamon in a bad way. Plus you can never get the taste off your atty...Just my two sense. |
