I like it, but me and an alarm clock go round and round nightly. I can only imagine what troubles I would have with all that button punching.

Okay Imma hafta break out the Rig tomorrow and do a nice photo shoot to do some very good size comparisons with the Provari vs other Mods and Ego's

RY4, I simply love Rosemary, I did my Bird a little differently this year though. I used McCormick Garlic and Herb seasoning and rubed the bird down with that last night and then Used Wild Harvest Organic Italian Seasoning in the little Grinder Bottle and coarse ground about three tablespoons out into a pyrex bowl and sprinkled it over the bird and into the drippings and chicken stock that was in the roasting pan and then basted it once every half hour It was Sooooo Yummy

That sounds wonderful!!!! I got out of the major cooking because I worked 2 12 hr shifts before today. When I do a turkey, I use the brine method and it is very good.

I just wish the "Admiral" aka DH or COMNAVWIFEPAC or "The Wife" would not insist on buying Prehistoric flying creatures the size of a small school bus to cook. I would prefer to buy three small turkeys, at least that way I could actually brine them eaiser.

In reference to the button pushes: They way overcomplicated the instructions in their video with that. It is 5 button pushes to get to the menu, power up is the first option and it is merely two button pushes between each feature.

A much easier explanation tat 10 for this and 12 for that and 16 for this one and 10 for the other one. That just over-complicates things and makes it sound harder than it actually is.

I know about the big bird and brining. I prefer to do a couple of turkey breasts, because we prefer white meat.
As for the button escapade.... They say,"Then simply reverse it!" Say what??

LOL it's really not that much button pushing to be honest, I have discovered that once you KNOW and you have it DOWN SOLID what you like best you just set it and forget it. My Provari holds my RY4's and only my RY4's luckily no matter what mix or mix ratio I use when mixing Menthol or anything else with RY4, it is always Perfect at between 5.2 and 5.4 volts with the 2.5 ohm Dual Coil Cartomizers I use in my Dual Coil MAP Tank. The Problem I would run into with the Darwin is that my Stainless Steel or any other large Carto Tank I use simply cannot be used and then put away on the Darwin because of the swing arm functionality. I could either put it on and take it off every time I wanted to use it or I would have to leave it on and then it would never be turned off.

That's a good point. If you watch the video, you have to admit, it IS a bit overwhelming.

Prolly right, but I don't know about having to push it so many times to access some parts of the menu. Like turning it off. I downloaded the manual and wow. There is a flowchart for each function so I don't think it what be confusing as much as tiresome. IF you want to make frequent changes that is. I do agree that it better be a good button.

I'm not sure if I would like all the menu function stuff as that scrolling stuff tends to annoy me. But they have some really cool screw on end caps.

I dont think the button thing is all that terrible to over come IMO..you shouldn't need to relly turn it off all the time anyway unless its leaking off power for some reason???
How often would I need to change voltages??..not that much throughout the day I dont think..
Im more curious about battery life and amp limits and voltage drop in real life use

I don't like all the menu stuff either. I purchased a Biobrite dawn simulation clock and it is suppose to help with seasonal depression and help you have more energy because you can wake up naturally. Due to the menu mess, it is soooo e-bay bound.

Okie Dokie, here is the image I promised with a size comparison between the Provari and the 1000May Ego battery I also thre my SGT VV Army Tank bottom feeder in there too so everyone can see what I am talking about when I say my Army Tank Variable voltage little beast it is

Anybody-pv003.jpg

So as you can see the Provari REALLY is no bigger in length than the Ego 1000Mah with the cone attached and it is only a little wider around.

Hope this helps

Thanks a pretty tank on the provari there. I've gotten to really like the tanks now. Is that one of those $50 ones?

Yes it is the one you can order from Either Most Angry Industries or Clouds of Vapor. I did completely take it apart and gloss it up a bit though myself, They do not actually come that sparkley. I spent about 5 hours per day for three days with some extremely fine grit wet sand paper and pilished the stainless until it was almost like chrome.

Wha 5 hrs a day for 3 days polishing!!! OMG! So how long does that baby last you? Is it hard to get the end cap off? I got one of the 12 dollar ones and I play hell trying to get that thing on and off. I"ve heard of Clouds of Vapor but not Most Angry Industries... who are they?

Most Angry Industries is Adams company, the maker of the MAP Tank, his Handle is Most Angry Pirate or MAP. He is the maker of the infamous MAP Tanks. Clouds of Vapor Sells his Version of them. Mine actually lasts me about three days and on top of the dual coil capacity it holds an additional 3 ML of liquid, so about a total of 5ML of liquid when completely topped off. But I also use my little bottom feeder as well and I go through about 3ml a day or more in that one. Plus the 1.8 to 2ml in the CE3 on the Ego.

I do not actually take either of the end caps off of them. They are designed so all you do is put the whole thing on an Ego Battery or some other device when it is empty and slide the tank up on the cartomizer until the top of the carto clears te cap inside the tank and then fill it with the bottle from the top. Really really easy, I always replace the rubber mouthpiece though before I refill the tank, it makes it easier to slide the carto back into place when it is filled.
