Welcome Snake.those 510 disposables work well and last well over 30 recharges;a cheap reliable way to get going and enjoy the introduction to 510 type ecigs. 510s(refers to the threading on atomiser/battery) seems to have the most readily available supplies, every online vendor has 510 stuff.

Hi, i just bought Mistic Ecig Complete System at Walmart for $29.99 i believe.
I love it. Nice drag, tastes like a cigarette. The battery was included with mine and i didn't have any problem at all. You can plug it in with the cord into an electric outlet or you can insert the charger into your computer. Mine did not come with any directions but i figured it out due to trying the original ECig online which didn't satisfy my urges and hardly had any taste. I'm wondering if Mistic contains more nicotine because of the stronger taste and the vapor seems to last a big longer than the Ecig. I'm going to google the site now to find out more about it.

Great video but where do you get that liquid refill for the filters and how much is a bottle?

You can replace them, which would get expensive or you can order online. There are many great retailers here on the forum, check them out under supplier hype or thouands on the web. Expect to pay 50c to $1/ml.

Also, i didn't quite get how you meter it? Is that something else you have to purchase? And i think you mentioned something about a different charger that makes them last longer? Thanks for the advice. Oh, one more question, i got the 1.8 nicotine *(i think that was the one, the highest one). Do you or anyone know, how much nicotine is in a regular cigarettee or pack. I smoke Marlboro 100's Red. Can't be much, but just want to make sure it is a real low amount. It seems to be safe in all ways, although i have read some contraversy on ecigs emitting chemicals. Maybe they just see a good thing that is cheaper and will not make all their tax money and income so they try anything to put ecigs down. In the past 3 days since i got the Miscig, i don't think i have smoked more than 8 cigarettes and a few of them were just because my charge went out. I usually smoke about 3/4 pack a day. Figuring out the savings over a month buying filter replacements and i estimated about $110 a month. Not bad at all and that is not even going into the state of NH next door and buying them by the carton at $53.00. That was at $8.50 a pack at CVS. Love them so far, though the charge doesn't last long enough, your right, you would have to take another one with you if you were out for the day.

Lisa,

Stick with the Mistic for a while. Juice can be measured with a syringe or a plastic pipette. Get a little juice, maybe a single 30ml bottle in a flavor you might like (18mg/m strength is fine) and practice topping off carts.
After a while you will be able to expand your equipment and supplies.
Great start.

Rocky

No I don't relly know how much nic is in cigarrette. But now you have seen ecigs will work for you. Might want to start looking at getting a bigger battery that will last you all day

Lisa, first of all, welcome to Vapeatron. The nicotine level of cigarettes is listed on the cartons but probably not on the pack.
Different e-cig retailers label their nicotine strengths differently but juice comparable to the amount of nicotine you get with the "Reds" will fall in the 18-24 mg/ml range, the mg is the amount of nicotine(nic) in each milliliter(ml)of juice.
The base liquid will be either PG (propylene glycol)or VG(vegetable Glycerin orGlycerol) Or they may be a blend of PG/VG as a base for the flavor and nic.
You need to experiment a little to determine the nic level(mg/ml) that satisfies your nicotine requirements and then find one that you like for taste.
Nicotine is addictive, but so is vaping and the equipment and juice options can be mind boggling take your time and get comfortable with vaping and with a juice before you immerse yourself. I'm retired so this has become a hobby for me as well as an escape from cigarettes. I haven't saved a dime. Enjoy

Welcome Lisa. It won't be long and you'll be begging for an official uniform here.

You might want to read through thecrash course into vaping thread. It'll be a really big help to you when posting here.

I have been using these for months, tried tons of other setup, juices etc but this is my staple.

Not sure how much of this info has been posted, I didn't read the whole thread, sorry.

They vent through the tip. You can get small 808 to 501 ring adaptors from MadVapes and put just about anything on the batteries. Don't get juice in the battery they are poorly sealed. Thier performance varies because of all the stuff between the vent at the tip and the drawing end, I roll them and squash them to improve airflow.

They are cheap, 20 prefilled carts at Sam's club for $37.50. Twelve (12) batteries with one cart (no charger) $75.00.

Tips. When you start a new cart try not to draw to hard because some overheat and burn the wadding and then they taste nasty and are ruined.

Lastly, when I am about a quarter way through a cart I open it up and top it off with Johnson Creek Original (CG) and it so good!

I would really like to find what juice they use if anyone knows?

Thanks, Peace Out.

Oh and I just read through some of the other posts about Vans, equipment, how to use them etc. and it reminded me of when I used to go to a lot of parties and a guy said to me 'I'm better looking than you' and I said 'I don't have to be' Met my third wife there. Looking for the forth.......I wonder if she'll vape openly?

Condom method FTW! Lisa I personally use the condom method as well. Go nice and easy down the carto to avoid seepage. Bring a towel with you just in case

Vabloke welcome to our happy little community.
I'm pretty sure that Johnson Creek makes their own juice.

I too picked up Mistic Ecigs (gas station): $14.99 for one battery, 2 carto's and a USB charger. I HAD to try these Ecigs again. (First was Eco-cig disposable - yuck - nauseating!) Not realizing what I had, I picked up refills for the Eco (LOL) - but they fit on the Mistic battery. Being a Menthol smoker, I loved the Mistic flavor! I seemed to get a bit of juice in my mouth on my lip when I 'smoked' it - so I started holding by my mouth and 'inhaled' ... that helped. It was enough to know I wanted to change. After reading a lot for a good week, I ordered Chase (believe it's a KR808D). The menthol that came w/ the kit wasn't as strong or sweet tasting as the Mistic. I stumbled onto this forum looking for info about "topping off" - in particular looking to double check the flavor brand. I happen to have some LorAnn peppermint! Going to give it a try to perk up the Chase carto. Oh - at the nearest gas station the Mistic refills are $14.99 for a 5 pack. In the starter kit, 1 was pretty dead. I think it was well worth the $15 to find out I would like vaping!

Once you find the right kit and juice, you'll be able to give up analogs altogether

Has anyone ever figured out WHAT these things are? I have a friend who's hot to buy one, but I told her I'd look into what they are for her. But $10 for three cartos....

I started with the Mistic from Sam's. Ended up with 2 of the batteries so I could make it thru a whole day. I found Vapeatron by doing a search on how to refill the cartos. It's and 808 threaded device for those of you that don't know. One warning since these are automatic batteries be extra careful NOT to overfill the carto when topping off. If you flood the battery you have a dead or barely operable device. Not to rush you into upgrading but I highly recommend swapping to an Ego. Renee at electovape has her kits priced VERY nice right now.

Good luck and keep Vaping

Depending what you pay for 1 pack of regular cigs, that isn't so bad. Granted there are better deals on the web. What I liked was being able to "Try Before U Buy" a much spendier kit. I KNEW without any doubt this was something I would stick with just by the fact I'd already cut down on the regular ciggys. The Mistic got me by until the Chase kit arrived.

By the way ... The LorAnn Gourmet peppermint oil ... I only added 4-5 drops - ewwh! LOL! The vapor really irritated my eyes!

Today I just added several drops of plain ol' water - just seemed like "it" might be a bit dry from the get go ... I think that alone 'revived' it. Just thot I'd mention it as a possibility that what appears to be a dud might not necessarily be one ... (Unless the more experienced have more insight!)

Dave74: Thank you for the link! After a while, will I "really" care about how "fat" the ciggy is? Silly but I actually have my heart set on a Volt so I can get the purple! I know I don't want to to look like an actual ciggy - so hopefully I don't get in trouble bcs someone thinks otherwise! My brother - he's already asking how soon I think I'll quite altogether! One step at a time little bro, one step at a time! 8-)

Kico, welcome to the forum. Lots of good info here and a pretty friendly environment.

Steam,I think the mystiks will end up being 808D-2s. Mike sells a D2 type at LeCig and has adaptors to D-1 cartos.
