I just use a plain 510 atty I got as part of a kit from before with the dummy carto with no filling or any drip tip...works great for taste testing

There are several places you can get 510 bridgeless dripping attys from $5 to $7 apiece, or you can use 306 attys too I believe.

Also, there's these liquid atty flavor eraser and cleaner for extending the useful life of your attys or for switching flavors alot.

I figure they would be cheaper but thats ok. Do the flavor eraser actually work well? I thought I would just use PG to do that?

I had a comment for the spitting but I am refraining lol.

Well the deal is the Atty's i got now are totally shot. So I figure I would order a drip atty since I been using the Boges and need something for testing.

Tony, define totally shot. Do they still heat up at all or have they lost their sizzle?
You can pull the bridge and dry burn the bare coil and it may be better than new for dripping. "splain yorself"

It seems they hardly even fire at this point and have zero sizzle. I have turned them over sprayed a little air threw the battery side really quick. I have to hold it a lot longer to get any vape and it still produces very little vape and always tastes burnt. This is using juice I know vapes and tastes good.

Since you've consigned them to the "not wuffa" pile, you CAN "POSSIBLY" remove the bridge gently(there are several youtube videos) remove the bridge with tweezers and expose the coil in the atty. Rinse the coil thoroughly in hot tap water, shake and blow the bulk of the water out, screw onto a good, large battery and proceed to hit the vape button for a couple of seconds at a time, rest, hit it,rest, hit it etc for many cycles; this is the dryburn thing I was talking about. Start with the premise that this atty is "not worth a...." anyway so you may kill it or save it as a drip atty. after you hit a couple of times the wick will dry and you'll start cooking the crud on the atty coil off, just like a self-cleaning oven does. The coil will put out smoke as it cleans the coil remember that its 2sec. on 1 sec. off until the coil stops smoking which means the crud is baked off and restored to like new(but without a bridge) or the coil has burned "open" electrically and you have a thoroughly useless atomiser (that is where you started anyway, right).
OR you could just throw the atty in the garbage and cough up another $5-10 bucks and say Bikes is a cheap bastard, won't be the first.

I always do the 40bikes method when an atty quits performing, I mean ya got nuthin' to lose anyway and most of the time it works and you can get another week at least using it as a dripper only

Great idea ! Will have to try this on a couple and see how it works out. Thanks for the video it def helped me understand on what needs to be done. Now If my buddy ends up forgetting it I have at least something to test with.
Thanks everyone !

Whatever you do, don't use any PV that goes above 3.7v for dryburning you will most likely fry that coil in an instant. just my 2 cents

I put a drop of SNOW on my atty before changing flavors- it works like a sorbet for cleansing the palate! LOL!
