| And >sigh< its not gonna be if the e-cig companies don't get it together. But, until then, you can still find a few ways to get the most out of your Atty. I suggest draining it first. My e-cig company sent a manual along with the starter kit that says for me to rinse it with warm water. I am neither for, nor against, this strategy. I have noticed that rinsing attys with warm water may not get the liquid out and if you don't let it dry on its own you could ruin the damn thang. So if you rinse an atty out with warm water, let it drip dry inside of a paper towel or knapkin. Usually, I just blow a little on the end of the battery side, then let it drip dry into a napkin from the other side. I actually let my attys drip dry for at least a day. Thats 24hrs buddy! At least.
I let one atty drip dry for about 3 days. Yep, that did the trick. There was a nice amount of liquid that came out of that atty. I was suprised to see that happen. They don't last as long as the companies claim they do. I've ran through about 3 or 4 in the past month. I'm waiting for the company to send me replacements. I guess it all depends on how much you use them. Nowadays you can get attys for cheap. So replacing them if the company wont isn't costly to do. I never use any kind of solvent or solution in or on my attys. Who knows what will happen if you do (residue, eww fool!). |

| One of the attys I got didn't work and I got a replacement from the dealer I bought the E-Cig from. He has been really helpful and did tell me to blow them out from the battery side. When I did there was a lot of liquid that came out like maybe 1/16th of a teaspoon. So they do need cleaning. I just got two new attys a week and a half ago and I thought something was wrong with them but I did what he told me and also I used canned air to finish blowing them out and on the side that the cartridge goes on as well and it keeps them dry and finishes cleaning them really well. They are both working like new now and I think every few days I will clean them in the same way and they will last longer maybe. I hope this helps. Oh and I am very new to the e-cig but I havent smoked in three weeks. yeah!!!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone. |

Christmasecigger....get it? | I was thinking of a song called "Santa Baby" and making a pun off of that, but I got in a lot of trouble with the gals in another forum over my constant reference to fishnets, so I think I'll just keep it to myself...
For now, at least!

| I've noticed (the hard way) that using a basic poly fill, as for pillows and textiles, may leave a permanant taste in the atty that is... unpleasant to say the least. I recommend using the microfiber cotton aquarium filters and boiling your attys to clean them.
I don't condone boiling water and then tossing them in, but I recommend using a metal (doesn't have to be metal) tea steeper. I have one that hangs from a chain, so I boil some water, hang the steeper from a long fork, and hold it in the water for a little while (roughly a minute). Afterward, I use a can of compressed air to blow out the water in the atty and let it dry with the threaded side facing up.
Not sure if this is the right or best way to clean my attys but it works for me.

| My chain vaping went up when I dropped to 12mg/ml. 18mg/ml and I vape less. I used to do 24 and when I started 36 but that gives me the hiccups and I do want to cut down. Maybe move up in NIC strength to reduce the time on the machine.
I also notice I vape about continuously while driving to work, or home.
If you are still doing 5 volts from the car try adding a pilot LED to the supply to continuously draw a little current. Some digital supplies get stupid with no current draw, like between puffs, that is if there is a "between puffs" with you

Rocket | Not much...
I managed to get the 901 atty apart, but there is potting material holding the connector in place. The 510 atty came apart even easier, but I'm going to have to take something like a socket to drive it out. It's not potted in place, just pressed in. I'm going to make an adapter to be able to hook up a 510 battery to a 901, and to hook up the forthcoming 'trailer park' to my 510 battery charger...
I also got some supplies from Mouser today, and will either be working on a flashlight mod or maybe the Atty Smasher. I have parts to make a regulated 12v-4.3v step-down, and a 3.7v-5v step-up...but clamped at approx 2A, so maybe I'll stop going through attys quite so fast...
I'm also going to have some fun with the burnt 808 atty while I'm at it.

| Even dead parts are useful. Some can be Mod parts, some are Tools.
Some are like friends.
Have fun.

Tell me somthing about yourself. Like "I vape from the time I get up until after I fall asleep" or, "I hit it until I start smelling burning plastic, and then hit it some more", or, "I used to smoke a pack a day but can now kill 5 carts in 12 hours"...
Get the idea I REALLY vape the helk out of the thing?!?!?

| I cleaned my m403 atty with crest pro health mouthwash, gave it a hot water bath, blew it out, let it dry over night, put some drops on it, tried to take some puffs on a full batterey and what do you know my atty was shot.
I was unable to get any vapor what so ever.
Can anybody tell me what i did wrong?
If anybody can help me or give me some advice please send me a message or respond to me on this forum.
Thank you.
Peace and much love.
