(Starting out to change out every two weeks if they need to or not. They are inexpensive enough .)
( ...I may just be vaping less this warmer season.)
Want to try them with a Tornado ( eGo, Riva, Etc.) and see how well they do cartoz!

I start with a topped off cartomizer, and keep topping it off during the day. Probably oscillating between 50% full and 75% full just because I don't take the time to let it soak before I start vaping again. This goes on several times during the day.
I am on day 6 (stop whining Hacki ) on one carto but will change and start a new one tomorrow. Give em lots of air, not lots of volts, lol.
Rocky | I just can't make it very long! I gummed one up in three days, another one in two. I have had them go as long as 10 days, but at 50 cents a day, why bother?

| berger,
I think he's referring to the 'daily' cost.
I try and keep total hardware cost (for the wife and I together) to about a dollar a day, plus a dollar a day for juice for each of us, and a dollar a day for extra stuff, stash, and spare parts. That makes it about $4 a day for two people, and that includes my 'hobby related' purchases . Keep track of your savings over buying cigarettes, it adds up.

| Folks always talk about 'blowing into the battery end'. When I overload/flood my Joyes (too much gurgling) that does nothing, no liquid to speak of comes out. Blowing into the cart end flushes a lot juice (usually darkened) right out and vapor production comes right back. |

I can use them further, they are still producing steam, but I like the "fresh vaping" feeling, so when the juice gums them up I put them in the 'connector' pile or toss them.
It works out to ~65 cents a day. If I can go 4 days or more, the cost goes down further.
I was trying to be 'cost conscious', but vaping a stale atty or one not putting out enough steam was driving me back towards cigs, so 65 cents a day is worth it.

| HEY!
I figured out why the cartomizers are 'gumming up' on me!
I tried sending a thin paper clip through the hole to clear it out. Usually it would wreck the atty. Tried cleaning with hot water, etc etc.
I was on the way to gumming up another one, after only two days (a full 48 hours) since it was drawing poorly. I could still see through the hole, so that wasn't it. I sucked out all the old juice and blew the rest through. Nope. Still bad.
Then I saw the two airholes. Opposite each other. I took a thin piece of wire and sent it through each of the holes. Eureka! It draws like new again!
Now, where did I put the one I washed out with hot water yesterday...

| I try to walk that fine tightrope between richsummbitch and cheapcreep so , like JJ I air flush the cartos from the cart end and vape on.
Saving the used juice may be a bit much, Rocky. My suggestion is put the Jug of used motor oil out by the Yamamonument and let the garden gnome hang on to the used ejuice for bugspray. Ejuice make pretty poor engine lube. |

This old baby went well over 100,000 miles.
And one of these days (in the off topic section) I'll tell you how to recycle you own motor oil and reduce your carpet footprint.

| Back to the subject at hand though, I was considering alternate possibilites, perhaps brake parts cleaner and or electrical contact cleaner, spray cans off course. I thinking zero residue and real speed. Id bet the wadding would dissolve though. Might be a great way to remove it from a carto though. Just a thought. Anybody try this one already? |

| Hi guys,
Nice point of discussion. Atomizer is the most important part of electronic cigarettes from where the liquid is heated to be converted into vapour which is inhaled by you into your lungs.
Cleaning of atomizer is very important. Thanks for sharing this informative topic here. |
