1/2 seconds a puff x 10 puffs/cig near as i can tell
though honestly out of curiosity i measured some of the last few analogs i had
on average 1 puff was 1.73seconds long(inhale only) and i got 19-24 per analog(pall mall non filters) so for me their math does not hold up.

I measured it once when I first began vaping and none of those I've seen who advertise that info. measured up correctly in comparison IMO. I don't remember the numbers now but I do remember getting 18-20 per analog (100s). From what I can recall, the puffs on vaping was just less than half of what I see advertised. Unless, like you say they are taking less than 1/2 second puffs.....

no, but i have used simmiler ecigs... sorry... none measure up to their claims... mostly because "a puff" is a rather subjective measurment based on individual habits. now if they were to measure the "puffs" at say a length of 1 second and the lable the package as "200, 300, 400, ect" 1 second puffs. i would find it much more acceptable and less misleading

How many people do you know that "puff" anyway? I take a ding-dang drag when I vape/smoke. None of this silly "puff" business.

lol, true, though with an ecig i tend to take a hit instead of a drag... but a "puff" i suppose is less "drug" lingo like *shrug*

Guys,I suspect the "puffometer" is attached to a 'smoking' machine with a counter. The machine is set for a specific draw time at a certain vacuum level and the counter is checked when vapor ceases. Probably spot checked throughout production run for consistancy. The parameters used are probably valid for "a" smoker but not for the rest of the PV users in the real world,to many variables. Steam uses 3ml of 5% nic juice to meet his daily needs, I use 6ml+ of my 1%+ juice to meet my need;which means I vape a lot more puffs than Steam does. I bet Steam would get by with fewer "puffs" and since my puffs are shorter(But closer together)I'd probably be a lot closer to the 500 puffs that grealls company proclaims.

I think they are proclaiming un absorbed nicotine in eliquid against the absorbed amounts in analogs..but even then I still cant get anywhere close to those numbers
